Re: Pl 25 middle set

I must be catching you on off nights because I see you playing quite laggy.

Particularly last night where I saw you raising hands like 36QK. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: Spider senses are tingling

I was not in the hand so I can't say for certain. But there are times when I can say better then 9 times out of 10 that a certain person has a set.

There are a lot of good but minimally tricky...

Re: Big Multi-way Pots w/ Big Draws for me: What\'s your line? 3 Hands

Hand 3 is the only strong draw.

hand 1 is bottom pair and 9 high flush draw... any 2 pair you hit 1 and 2... you have weak flush draws and gutshot draws... possible straight, any 2 pair you hit...

Re: Spider senses are tingling

I just can't agree with this. Even on-line, you should be able to read certain players.

Recent hand where I kicked myself for not listening to myself (as opposed to the people who say never fold...

Re: AKo in BB/miniraised

That's a bit of an over-raise. I don't think you want to always raise 10%-15% your stack as your open.

Re: A brief bit about the SS 6 max games

Man... I'm still smarting from this hand when you and I used to play the $25 tables together. For some reason this hand sticks in my head... you raised with AK. I reraised with pocket kings to your...

Re: If I Think They\'re Coming Along

lol I didn't realize when I posted the 9 /images/graemlins/club.gif was the straight flush. So, that means he has 4 outs instead of 3.

"I see nothing wrong with this play, pushing will probably...

Re: How tight are you from the SB?

The nature of the table in general makes a difference. If the table is relatively passive postflop and they do fish-donk things like bet $.50 into a $6 pot... then I'm more comfortable playing the...

Re: If I Think They\'re Coming Along

I hate it. You're putting it all on on a non-nut flush draw.

You better hope a non club 9 hits.

Re: QQ preflop problems

[ QUOTE ]
I dont want to take the flop 3 handed, so I make it 100 to go. (good, bad, or ugly). sb flat calls, ok, now he almost surely has AK.

Just curious why you think this? ...

Re: How tight are you from the SB?

The blinds are so unimportant except in tournament play.

No matter what, you're going to be out of position for the whole hand.

I could care less if I folded every SB in a cash game.

I...

Re: miniraising limpers from the BB?

[ QUOTE ]
I see your point about doubling the pot size. If find it difficult to get their entire stack if they only have one pair. Decent players don't put their whole stack on the line with one...

Re: miniraising limpers from the BB?

It's bad. If there are any good or even aggressive players, they'll put in a big reraise.

The point of small pp's is to hit it a set. The whole idea is to see a flop cheaply. By doubling the...

Re: totally lost on this 1010 hand

Yeah. This is bad.

Why are you calling the turn bet if you're going to fold the river? If you think 10s are the best hand, then you should raise him or least call the river. If you don't,...

Re: Flopped Q set, critique please

What they said. You played this like a limit player. You're going to lose a lot of money this way.

Re: 25NL 2 folds

Is this the same villain in both hands?

Personally, I think there's a good chance he's full of poo.

Hand 1- I would have to know he's a complete idiot to, first off, call all the way down with...

Standard Laydown?

The usual 4-5 limpers. I limp with A277 on the button.

Flop comes 7JK

BB opens for pot... MP REPOTS it. folds to me. Neither player was hyperaggressive. I couldn't imagine anything that...

Re: PLO8 General Thought

[ QUOTE ]
The Ray Zee book says that in PL08, bad players get cut up much too quick. In 7 stud, bad players can chase. In Holdem, they can play crazy and still have good nights. In fact,...

Re: Possible to get away from this hand? (Turned fullhouse)

When you post, you need to post the table limit and effective stack sizes. Based on the fact that the all-in bet was around $50, I'm going to assume this is a $50 table.

Your flop play is...

Re: PL08 Partypoker $25

I hope you lost this hand to quad fours on the river. It would serve you right for playing the hand so weakly. Smooth calling the flop is okay I guess, but what are you gaining?
