What is your push range here?

NL Tournament, and you have 2400 left, with blinds at 400-800. 8 handed table, folded to you on the button. The BB is the chipleader with close to 50k, and will probably call with most decent...

Re: Windsor on the weekends?

When I played there last summer, the "big game" was 15-30, and it was incredibly juicy. 5 limpers minimum, every hand.

Re: Limit tournaments, question on stacking off?

The flop was all red, 2 hearts and 1 diamond, and my 8's were black. Does that change much?

Re: Detriot

If you feel like going to Windsor that is by far the nicest poker room. Just make sure you have proof of citizenship (birth certificate/passport before crossing the border.) I've never played...

Limit tournaments, question on stacking off?

I played my first limit tournament this weekend, a $33 on Party, and wow was the play horrible. The one thing I'm still not sure of in these limit tournaments, is how low your stack needs to be...

Re: College pranks

I went to a co-op school where we're in school 3 months then work 3 months, and it operates year round. That means half the school is working while the other half is taking class. Our frat house...

Re: Runner runner quads beats quads

[ QUOTE ]
That guy must have pooed himself. That's one of the worst beats ever.

[/ QUOTE ]

Also one of the worst pre-flop calls ever. Well, not really, but it wasn't exactly smart.

Re: OMFG if I get 1 person in the jury that plays holdem I\'ll get off

Do you know how much money you would cost other players if you were to take someone like that out of the game by stabbing them? I think you would have an easier time taking his money at the poker...

Re: Boring.. Paired board gaybet out of the blind HU

Raise the flop. Bet the turn, check behind on river. If you're 3-bet or check/raised at any point, I'd probably let it go. I don't know what it is with 6-max, but it seems that EVERY time I raise...

Re: Anyone in here tried crystal meth?

One of my co-workers admitted to doing it. All he said was "It felt like I got punched in the nose, then I was awake 4 days straight." I've heard enough about Meth to make me never want to touch...

Re: Valuebetting again...

I don't think you get calls very often from worse hands. I would need a read that he calls down with no pair quite often.

Re:sults

eh, the 4's chop, so the 9 was really the money card.

When things get wacky at a table, I wait until I have a better hand. I think you'll lose a lot of money playing this way against wild...

Re: Joe Cassidy sick call

From the Cardplayer report he was getting about 2-1, needing to put 250k more into the pot on his call with the hammer. Those things have been shown to be way off in the past as far as what the...

I have one. It worked great for a few months then just got worse and worse. It's constantly hissing and making noises despite thorough cleaning.

Re: Hands from the Bellagio ME when in a \"short\" stack

Unless you think UTG will fold a bigger overpair then I don't see the point in a push in hand 1. When I see UTG limp then explode with a big check/raise on a ragged flop I immediately start wondering...

New to SNG\'s, question on pre-flop play.

After about a year of playing poker I've decided to learn the SnG game starting at the Party $11's, which I find to be incredibly soft. I feel like I've got a pretty good understanding of NL...

Re: Broadway Straight

It takes one heck of a read to fold like that. It reminds of a 40/80 hand Thomas Keller posted in an old cardplayer article. He had AK vs. AJ on a KQT flop and they capped it. The turn brought a Q,...
