Re: Why the higher stakes players play limit O/8?

If you're talking about live play, then that's simply because pot limit games, especially split pot games take forever to play. People constantly asking how much they can raise etc.

The big games...

Just be happy that a 3, Q or non-club 4 didn't fall on the river.

Don't mean to offend but, Yes! You played the hand completely wrong. 1st off it never should've seen a flop, it's a piece of sh*t. You only have a potential nut low, with almost no high...

Re: did i play this hand wrong in p0825? thoughts?

With a good counterfeit protection( if you can draw the low), you shoulda potted it right back on the flop, your gin card would be a 5 so you could scoop or get others quartered.

I thought his...

Re: Party PLO8 $400 hand II

Any normal players who had a set on the flop would have pushed right back if villain potted and shero repotted in SH game.

If you are playing against an idiot, I would had pushed on the turn. You...

Re: Party PLO8 $400 hand

I think the check-raising attempt on the flop was a mistake in a 3-handed game. Not anything else but I wanted to induce a bluff to get most/all of villain's money in on the flop by making a...

Re: PLO8, bare AAxx question

With the two high card flop, I'd be inclined to check-raise the flop (assuming good competition).

What if ur oop, then on the flop you check, planning for a raise. You get potted, then you raise,...

Re: What do I do on this river?

On the flop, you are only going for the low as you have nothing going for the high. It's really an easy fold. Don't play for half of the pot, A23x had you domniated... Your hand is weaker than you...
