Heads up on the button preflop

I understand that in 6-max, you never want to limp in any of the non-blind positions. Plus, at a full table if 4 people have folded, same thing.

However, when it's down to 2 or 3 people, isn't it...

Looks good to me. If the River is a 9, you might bet again and get paid.

More $0.50/1 6-max or $1/2 full?

I've played about 10,000 hands at $0.50/1 full (I know it's not enough hands to be certain I am a winning player). I tried $1/2 and started off poorly. I also tried $0.50/1 6-max, and am flopping...

[ QUOTE ]
Currently I am playing at .5/1 6-max. I usually choose tables with pretty low avg. pots (3-5 BB) which usually means I'm up against fairly passive players and haven't had to dip into more...

Re: Flop good, but kicker gives me hassle.

I don't like the fold. They probably have Kings. There's only one other 7 out there.

Your outs are the other 7 and 3 2's. You'd probably chop if a 3 comes. I think I would call down.

I like it, but I'm still pretty new to 6-max and I don't play 5/10.

Use of bet / fold - non-SSHE-like?

I was successful at $0.50/$1 full, and started $0.50/$1 6-max about 1500 hands ago, about break even. For full ring, I'm following SSHE pretty strictly, and being very aggressive on the...

How to start 6-max?

I currently play $0.50/$1, mostly at Party, and am thinking about building my short-handed skills. Is it worthwhile to try $0.25/$0.50 or $0.50/$1 6-max at sites like PokerStars?

Can someone...
