Re: Who likes this push? Party 30+3 w/ 250 entrants

a push is a little excessive. there's still a lot of people to act. A raise wouldve been better.

Re: Whats my move?

even if utg is a loose/aggressive player, LP must have something to be pushing here. He's not desperate with the next payout coming up.
what are the range of hands you put these people on?
I would...

Re: Overplayed JJ? FullTilt 16K ($24+2)

almost everytime im up against a limp raise of all in from 1st or second postion it's aa kk. it's tough to fold jj. but you still had bb to act behind you. you are in the middle of a squeeze play....

Re: what is the move?

I really based my decision on odds alone. there was not enough information on this opponent to tell what his range of hands were.

Re: what is the move?

there are no antes. Why would it make a difference? and are your odd calculations a total from those range of hands?

Re: Yes, I limped UTG with 10 BBs

i think this is a must raise. you're in middle position and if you're willing to call a small stack you should put them all in yourslef. Your position is not great and I think you're asking to be...

Re: KK push...am I a donk?

no one would at least call and try to take all his chips? You made yourself look like you were stealing. Why the need to steal? I'd call with A9 also if i thought you were stealing and my odds were...

Re: KK push...am I a donk?

why not slowplay? you couldve either won a big pot or lost a small one. kk in tournaments can be tricky because it only takes ane ace to beat you and you're done. A push at this stage is unnecessary....

Re: $11-Impatient at the bubble?

fine.. you shouldnt have been in the hand to begin with. But you got a decent flop and a decent turn, why not call the turn bet and see river. I think check raise was a little too aggressive you...

Re: Brunson ? cross posted in SSNL

doyle's meaning is literal. I've gone on many streaks. Making a lot of money. you make more money the more pots you win in a row. More people are gunning for you and more willing they become to take...

Fold, and it's not close. With any kind of reasonable opponents, TT is not a good hand here.

Re: Sanity Check - Back in the saddle

The blinds are very large compared to your stack. you would be putting half of it at risk with 94o against a short stack move which is virtually almost any "Face Card". So you would more than likely...

Re: Sanity Check - Back in the saddle

i'd probably let it go. while you r getting almost 3-1 (2.79-1 to be exact) I don't see doubling someone up with 94o. Which isn't much better than 72o. Give up the 500 and pick a better place to...

What would be your move?

I was BB in a $140 buy-in stt. This was only the second hand. The tourney starts with 50-100 blinds and chips start at 1500. Everyone was even stacked except for blinds and 1 guy in middle. utg+1...

Re: first hand of a sng

definite fold. It's very early in tournament, you don't have a read, and all you're doing is drawing. Should be much better opportunity's later on.

Re: Time to gamble?

I think any hand you go all in with is asking to be called. When your all in is only the Minimum bet, I find that I usually get called by more the one person and they check it through hoping to just...

Re: Stars 2 table 10+1 SnG, chip lead, 6 left, KK

There is no reason to push. 1) You don't want to blow him out of the water, you have a good hand. 2) But you also have no control from that point on. If you just reraised the pot and he calls, you can...

Bad Beat or Bad Play?

I was in a live tournament which was $65 buy in with rebuys for 3 rounds and one add on after the 3rd round. We were in the 6th round with blinds 500-1000. I am in cut off postion. UTG opens to 2500...

Re: Do you get away from THIS hand?

You said you knew that he had top pair. If he was abc with his raises, not LAGgy, would he raise kj, kq , ak before the flop? If he does raise with them, you can almost instantly put him on k10. I...

Even though you have an overpair, you're probably not the favorite at the flop. they might be holding a club draw or also trips, which would definitely put you at a disadvantage. I don't like the $60...

He shouldn't be hard to read when you already know what he has in the pocket when he bets that much. Against someone like that you usually have to wait for a good opportunity. if he bets 20x it...
