Thanks for the response.

Re: QJs Heavy Flop action

Apologies on the hard HH. It was a very action packed flop/board/action.

A misunderstanding on the action though- Villan 2(me) pushed for $39 total, with $27 more to go. I apologize for the...

QJs Heavy Flop action

I am not hero, but I am a villan in this hand. Just wanted to know what you guys think about this:

$.25/.50 homegame. 5 handed, game is winding down and there is a good ammount of $$ on the table....

Re: NL50 - tricky AA hand

Looks good all around. Did villan show KQ?

Re: QJo in LP against big stack

I fold. Villan may have KQ, or something of the sort. With a near PSB on the river, you aren't beating much. Also, to 2nd poster, Hero has 2nd pair by the river, not a flush.

Re: 100 NL - JJ - coordinated flop

Interesting hand.

Some reasons to raise:
-Regain the initiative.
-Don't allow a cheap(er)draw for a possible A10,A9,KQ, etc.
-Gain more value from possible J10, TP type hand.
-Take it down...

Re: tough 55 hand

Can you explain your reasoning for the small turn bet? Was it to induce action? I think I 3-bet this turn. River is tough.

Re: Nervous with two pair

I think you lost some value on this hand. Raise turn and definitely value bet this river. You are ahead of villan's holdings IMO.

Re: Two hands meet flop resistance, QKo, AKo, Top pairs

Hand 1: I think if villan is a loose dumb moron, I think pushing is best. You will see a call from worse Qs and such.

Hand 2: I think villan may have 2 pair. A5s/A8 are possible, as is a weaker...

Re: Big pot ...100NL

This is an ugly board (mainly turn/river) for you. Villan definitely looks to have an overpair, and the turn/river definitely did not help you.

I put villan on 77/AJ/JJ/QQ/KK/AA. The turn and...

Re: Pocket Kings with Monotone Flop...

Any bet pretty much commits you, as he does not have enough to push you off your hand. I would push him in as well.

Re: January goals post (and December revisited)

-Get pokertracker/pokerace, learn the art of bonus whoring.
-Get my feet wet and learn to multitable well.

Re: How do you destroy the habitual minraiser?

How does this guy play postflop? Does he just minibet all the time? You should be RR with decent holdings (PPs, Broadways, etc) and value betting alot more.

Re: Reraising preflop

I reraise PF for a number of reasons. Sometimes, if a LAG has been raising my blind from the button every time, I'll reraise with PPs and broadways.

My RR standards fluctuate, mainly depending on...

Re: Flop a boat...and lay it down =P

I usually lead the flop. Underfulls are vulnerable. Get the money in ASAP IMO.

Re: AQ 50NL

Thanks for responses. I think I should have bet the turn, mainly for value. Villan flips over Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gifJ/images/graemlins/diamond.gif and MHIG.

Re: A-xs limping

I usually limp only after 2+ limp ahead of me. Limping from EP is not good IMO, because if we hit our draw, we are playing OOP. Limping with position+ 100+BB stacks is ok I think.

Turn- villan checks/...

Is this a clear check behind? (This is given the same cards on...

AQ 50NL

$.25/.50 homegame. 6 handed. Hand happened a little while back, so forgive me if details are a bit sketchy.

Hero (TAG) has $70 and covers villan(who has $40). Villan is usually solid, c-bets 95%...
