Re: A9- How often am I Behind?

A9- How often am I Behind?

If I was a math wizz I wouldnt be asking!

Holding any A9, how often am I behind? (opponent has AT or higher, or pair)

Assume 3 handed.

Then 2 handed.

Trying to adjust \"training wheels\"- Fairly LC

SSHE- KQs early position limp (tight chart)

I feel so uncormfortable doing this. It just gets me in trouble. Am I wrong in "sticking" to the tight chart on a 3-5 players to the flop table? I...

First in middle position limp?

I have seen several people start there responses to hand post with - "I hate this limp." It seems to be centered around hands like KTs in middle position, first in. I have to admit I still have a...

Re: take the free card or bet again?

After seeing no aggrression so far, bet. In seeing no aggression Im assuming TP will win a large percentage of the time. A bet may get K4 to fold or any A. Your probably behind, but betting...

Re: KK vs. crazy uber-aggression

"Villian is crazy (90 hands). 80% VPIP and generally caps every street with just about anything -- usually shows down Ax, Kx, Qx, Jx."

Why did the cap scare you?

Bet, Raise, Reraise . . . ...

Re: How\'s this flop play?

Flop raise- OK. If he reraises behind, you have to get both callers in between to still have equity.

If Im reading it right, your getting 6.5-1 on the turn so you have to continue.

Re: AQs line. Played it right?

I think I would reraise the river. If the SB had Ax 2P, and feared bigger 2P, why would he raise on the river. I cant see AK, consider preflop. Maybe your tied, maybe he has A6. But, I like a...

Re: KQs from UTG

With no read I cant see laying this down on the turn. The pot is pretty good size. He could have sat down and lucked into A's, K's, T's, QQ's(not as likely), or AQ. If he posted and raised with...

Re: 2PGK vs Bluffy McBluff-his-pants

Thanks for the extended reasoning. I couldnt agree more. What really made me feel bad about this play was the good pot size. Your response has hopefully helped my game.

Thanks again...

Re: KK - was this weak?

In 1.5 hrs I had seen her bet 1 time with less than top pair on the flop. That time it was four to the nut flush. And if that's the case here, I'm in a lot of trouble. But I am just getting my...

Re: 2PGK vs Bluffy McBluff-his-pants

He had folded to a raise on the turn several times. I followed through with folding. I see the value of calling down vs him with a weakish hand. As to why I didn't raise, my training wheels get in...

KK - was this weak?

Flop aggressor is L preflop, but has only bet strong holdings. I felt there was little chance I'm ahead.

2PGK vs Bluffy McBluff-his-pants

Two hands previous he had bluffed a paired board on the turn. I called down w/JJ, he had A9o- no pair.

He's been very profitable so far. My question is about my turn raise. My plan was...

Re: My first hand post!

Thanks for the responses. The river T killed his two pair, and I got table coached. Just didn't see how else I could have played it.

Re: I got lost, then got help, then . . .?

I still have my training wheels. Realize I am extremely new to the SSHE world. I started at UB, with no understanded of calling, raising standards. Why is this a raise preflop?

Re: I got lost, then got help, then . . .?

No I dont know. This is what im saying. Looking back it was easy to see it was wrong. Didn't you see the I suck at the end. I'm just trying to learn. I felt I played poorly during the whole...

Re: I got lost, then got help, then . . .?

Yeah, like I said looking back it was easy (looking at the pot size), but these are the hands where I seem to get into trouble. If I had realized the pot size it would have been obvious. And, yes I...

I got lost, then got help, then . . .?

Flop call? 4th Street now what? Looking back its easy for me to play this, but "in the heat of battle" I think I really screwed the pooch!

SB has shown down some really weak hands, and has...
