Re: Foxwoods 5/10 kill vs. 10/20

I have yet to play the 10/20 as I'm a little underolled, but the 5/10 game is very very juicy. 5 to a flop is pretty standard on *most* tables, and I'd estimate the preflop raise % to be about 5....

Re: I think I need to stop doing this...leak?

I mostly fold this. If the bettor is passive enough I will raise and try for a free card with a pot of that size. If he plays back at me again I'm gone UI.

Re: completely dumbfounded

Read Small Stakes Hold 'Em by Sklansky (et al).

That's the playbook to loose limit games.

Re: A9 in BB flops full house. Plan?

Have to jam the pot here. Check raise is a poor poor option. I might smooth call a raise from the button to trap everyone for the extra bet on the flop but after that it's time to go to war.

Re: Heads up, worst pair, weak kicker out of position

I'd bet the turn to try to take it down right there, but thats as far as I go. I'd fold to a raise and Check/Fold the river.

Re: care to help out?

I think I check the river since we are not making any better hands (J, 3, A8,K8,108s) fold, and a busted draw or whiffed overcards won't be calling, so the river bet is a lose/lose IMO.

Anyone care to give some quick advice on what I should work on for my next 15k hands? I've done some searches, and my stats are *somewhat* comparable to the range of the "I hate...

Re: How does Kill affect strategy?

[ QUOTE ]
The Foxwoods 5/10 games I've played in were often 10/20 games where I didn't have to pay the big blind my fair share of the time.

Re: ARE B&M PLAYERS BETTER THAN INTERNET PLAYERS?....YES

No question that online players are MUCH better in small stakes limit games than B&M players. IMO, 4/8 Foxwoods plays like microlimits online. Incredibly soft soft game.

Re: low striaght

Is it too weak to fold the flop? Facing 3 bets while possibly being dead already with 17 cards (diamonds, remaining A's and K's for an easy broadway) that make you dead as well. Too weak?

Early start at Foxwoods on Sundays?

The last few Sundays I have been to the 'woods, the 4/8, 5/10 tables have been logjammed at 9:30am. I usually just take a seat on "Last call for ___" anyways, but if I were to play by the rules, what...
