Re: *** Party 40K aquarium thread ***

That was fun. AA loses to the ol' check-raise allin with a flush draw. I think I'll play in this again.

Re: AKs preflop

I think I would definitely at least call to see the flop. If you hit anything, push. Don't think you have much fold equity here with a push. I think alot of times SB will have a big pocket pair,...

Re: Trouble at the Tournaments (Online)

In response to what hands you play in early position, I think you are definitely being too tight. I consider play pretty conservative, and I am not folding 77-99 in any position if the pot hasn't...

Re: Results

I did move up to 7th, but I think I might have been too weak tight in a couple of other situations as well. Although I tend to beat myself up overthinking these things. Anyone else do this?

Re: FT of Party $35,000 G - What would you do with AJs?

That's just it. I didn't think it was very likely that he would make this play with a mediocre hand in that position so I didn't think he the FE was there.

Re: FT of Party $35,000 G - What would you do with AJs?

I agree. If it was a big stack, I might have been more inclined to push, but with his stack size, it just seems like he's asking for someone to come over the top.

Results

I thought long and hard before folding, which may have been too weak tight. I just thought I could find a better spot where I had more fold equity.

Re: FT of Party $35,000 G - What would you do with AJs?

If I call, the pot is almost going to be as big as my stack. If rest of table folds, and flop misses me completely, what do I do then, say, if he bets the min into me? I really thought the only...

Re: FT of Party $35,000 G - What would you do with AJs?

I think he had been raising his fair share of pots, but not open pushing. I'm not really sure though.

FT of Party $35,000 G - What would you do with AJs?

My first final table in a large buy-in MTT. My image thus far has been tight, with none of my open pushes called. What would you do in this situation? Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Party...

Re: For all the norman chad detractors

I actually thought that Chad was funny this week. I usually get sick of the jokes about all the ex-wives, but not this week. That episode with Hellmuth was easily the best episode I've ever seen. ...

Re: *Party Thursday Super*

Just open-limped with AA on the button and of course got beat. Soon after got some back with KK. On Table 3 with a short stack.

What does everybody think of the open limp with aces on the...

Re: Best Book for Beginner?

I'm actually reading TOP right now. I'd agree that someone should be around the game a while before they give this one a try. Someone just starting out is not going to understand concepts like...

Re: Happiest 2005 WSOP ME Moment

I can see why some people wouldn't like the Mouth, but what's the deal with everyone hating Dutch Boyd? Just curious.
