Re: $30/60, AJo from the small blind.
How can you like a cold call? The BB is a good chance to call as well and then it is 3 handed. Really the ONLY flop you want to see is J high. Man, you got lucky. What if the flop is 58Q or 55T? Can...

Re: $30/60, AJo from the small blind.
It looks like you are assuming he calls if you check raise? If he has QQ KK or even AQ he may fold to a check raise and you have only made one bet on the river anyway. I bet out.

Re: 6-Handed (Max) vs Full games
I think it's important to realise there may be a difference between "aggressive" players and players who go too far with their hands or bluff too much. If they are in the latter two categories suited...

Re: Thanks for all replies!
Just went to check which month it was published and it looks like it was more than 3 months ago. They take down anything older than 3 months and recommend you contact the author. Sorry man it was...

Re: Thanks for all replies!
Ed Miller has a great Two Plus Two Magazine piece about this a month or two back. Read it for yourself but here is what I took from it:
You don't have to play more hands out of the blinds. But...

Re: People make plays at big pots, right?
This guy could be raising with 99 because now he puts you on AK. This seems like one of the problems people have when they move up - they get scared to bet hands which are probably best on the river....

Re: Adjusting For LAG
I am definately reraising the flop - or at least raising the turn. I find with these LAGs that if you don't wring the maximum from your big hands then the times they steal from you will leave you...

Re: 30/60 -> I hate the world
I three bet the turn and call if raised. If he calls my three bet on the turn I bet out on the river. If reraised on the turn I check call the river.

Re: Playing a Set
I like a turn raise. You are not bullet-proof with trip 3s. He may reraise you with AA or KK and you can go in again.

Re: One I Hate
I sometimes flat call pre flop if the BB is tight. If he is loose I make it three bets as hero did.
I also call the river. You are better than a 10% chance to take the pot. I can see him showing...

Re: turn turn turn turn
21 big bets in the pot. You are better than a 10% chance to win it. You must call at least. I don't like a raise because you may get reraised by a sleeper AA or KK or a set.
Call.

Re: CRAZY MANIAC PLAY
Hey guys what's wrong? Just because this hand is not being decided on the river for 30 big bets does not mean it is not important.
We don't discuss enough "normal" hands here.
Nobody has a view...
