Re: A trio of teasers - QJs
I think that raising here may very well be worse than calling if you've still got the 'tricky' UTG player left to act, but I may be way off.

Re: Questionable slow play?
I'm betting the flop. So many people autobet after a raise that they're not necessarily going to give you credit for anything here.
It might have worked this time, but I think in the long run...

No. I don't see the value of check/calling the turn and betting out the river. If you're going to get him to bet here on any hand in...

Re: A trio of teasers - QJs
Preflop, it's iffy but there's a lot out there already and you've got position on the field. You're probably not looking to take down the pot with a pair though. The problem with this call is...

Re: A trio of teasers - 88
Preflop 3-bet is good.
I'm calling this down. We have showdown value, espeicially with this board.
I'm not 3betting the turn here because I want to see the showdown. Calling down puts in...

Check in fear of checkraise or a made hand from MR passive? No way I'm ahead anyway. I doubt villian will fold too.

A couple beginner questions
I've only logged about 700 hands so far, so I'm not even going to bother asking about stats. I have had a couple questions come up, though, and was hoping I could get a little input.
First off,...

You also have bad position for getting paid for a set. Inevitably you will find yourself raising in front of the rest of the field instead of trapping them.

Trying out SH, 22 on button to a raise
Fairly new to 6max games. Started playing shorthanded to build tables on smaller sites and did pretty well. Tried out heads-up here and there and managed to win some money, now I think I want to...

Re: Blind vs blind play JTs
I was hoping to find him calling my raise, hopefully showing weakness (lower PP?). I was planning on folding UI on the turn. Would this be too weak?

No real read on the villian here. He was somewhat shortstacked when I sat at the table. I feared AT or KT during the hand but I figured he'd put the same money in with the ace anyway. Don't really...

Re: underpairs
There are a lot more variables to consider. The situation is't the same every time you run into this. However, if the pot's small there's usually no reason to continue with this hand.
