Re: HELP!! My Stats; What should I do to get better??

You play too few hands, you do not raise PF enough, and you do not attempt to steal blinds enough. The starting hands in SSHE are GUIDELINES. It would be helpful to see the rest of your stats. Also,...

Las Vegas live games question

I'm going to be in Las Vegas over New Year's. I was wondering if anyone who has played around in Vegas could tell me which limits/casinos most closely resemble Party $1/2. I suppose I could watch for...

Re: A7o from the BB, six handed. Too loose PF?

I like it. One question, if the button would have called the flop instead of folding, would you have done anything differently?

Re: AJs in BB

with the CRR PF, I might cap and then lead the flop. I would lead the river (CO either has 2 pair or an 8 is my guess on the turn). I really think everything looks fine the way you played it except...

Re: Flop play with KJs

[ QUOTE ]
9:1 dont justify a call on the flop here. We need like 10-1 to make the call. And if we discounts the T of hearts we need to have even higher than 10-1 to call. Im not sure how aggressive...

Re: Risk Or Reward

The flop bet here is probably not good. If one person folds, like MP2 did, you lose your equity edge (32% to make your straight by the river vs. 33.3% of the money you put in the pot). If UTG+1...

Re: QJo out of the BB

[ QUOTE ]
I realize that, but I think betting out here gives us more information than the way it was played out.

[/ QUOTE ]

With this hand we don't want information--we either want value or a...

Re: Which Micro games are softer, PP or PS?

I initially only played at party. I lost $100, bought and read WLLH and SSHE and deposited $50. I made a bankroll from that $50 at PP sufficient to play 2/4. I have found the games at times to be...

Hand #2 - usually raise PF, but whatever.

I know the standard line in this forum is AGGRESSION TO THE MAX, but I disagree with you 100%.

Ok, bet the flop. That was my original thought too but I could see myself getting check raised here a ton of times.

If you get check raised, you can probably fold...

Re: TT facing scary board

I bet the flop and never put anymore money into this pot unless I improve.

Re: Call a Preflop Raise Once Commited?

If his PFR is around 0.9 over 200 or more hands, then fold--otherwise, you must see the flop.

Re: 2+2 serious game .5/1 party

He is very worried about a c/r here.

Do you attempt to attach any fold equity to this turn bet. For instance, if it was 33% you would make up for those times you were...

Re: 2+2 serious game .5/1 party

I think the flop call is good with you backdoor draws and your ace overcard. Is betting the turn bad?

Re: Blind steal.. how\'d I do?

I think capping here is spewage. But along the lines of spewage, I will often bet this turn--I think your fold equity is greater than 25% here--just my opinion. Flop is fine.

Re: JJ in SB against BB aggression..standard?

Thanks for your response. I should have folded here, but I will occasionally bluff raise in BB's position if I can improve, but don't have a hand. This was my thinking when I 3-bet. Say I am BB with...
