I would think so too.. but he had Ac 3c which makes me wonder if he thought it was justified to see a flop with Ac 3c, what other hands would he feel the same way about? Probably any...

Re: Should I go broke here (KK early tourny)

Push and hope villain doesn't have a set or straight.

Unless villain is making a move, I would say he has a set, straight, smaller pp, or a draw. He could also have AK/AQ and think he may be ahead...

Re: $3 rebuy Stars AQ all in call / fold?

I posted almost the same situation from a live tournament where 2nd position raised 4xBB and I pushed from 4th position with QQ. 2nd position had AQo and was getting 2-1 pot odds. 3nd position was...

Re: QQ final table

If your opponents are any good, they may read the 60% stack raise as a big pair. Just push.

Wouldn't you rather hope that everyone folds and you pick up a nice pot?

Re: $3 rebuy Stars AQ all in call / fold?

You are getting 2-1 pot odds and you have AQ, so call and hope for the best.

Re: Follow up bets

It depends on the opponent and the table. I usually bet aboout 3/4 pot. Harrington says half pot and that may work in major tournaments where people bet half pot when they make their hand.

You...

You don't think stack sizes are a little large for a push?

[/ QUOTE ]
I am not necessarily saying it was a good play, but there was 5 in the pot and villain had 13 left.

In Gordon's actual application of this he's usually looking for a loose EP raiser to make this play on. In most cases I'm sure he wouldn't mind a fold. The only reason he doesn't hate a...

I think this is very helpful, particularly since you included one of my posts. There is a lot of junk in this forum, which is the main reason for all the forum splitting suggestions.

Re: Turning Stone Limits

I was there during the week and they had 1/2 NL 100 max and maybe one table of 1/2 NL 200 max. The 200 max is generally a better game with more action, but with some decent LAGs.

They had 2/4 3/6...
