Re: Explain something to me regarding Juice....

[ QUOTE ]
Extremely well put - nice job.

One miniscule point . . .

-110 / -110 is not a dime line; it's a 20 cent line.

-105 / -105 is a dime line.

Re: Explain something to me regarding Juice....

OK, I just reread your post and see that you understand about the magic numbers and unbalanced action.

And now I am really confused.

Are you claiming that you saw a book charging -130 on BOTH...

Re: Explain something to me regarding Juice....

And just to make it a bit clearer, NO book has the audacity to charge -130/-130. That is not what you were seeing. In other words, there is no way the line looked like this:

49ers +3 -130
Jets...

Re: Explain something to me regarding Juice....

You are not understanding what you were seeing. When you see an NFL team at -130 on the spread, the other team is going to be paying better than even money. The reason they would put up a -130/+110...

No, there are not.

So you pick fights based on whether or not you think you can get away with it?

Unlike all of the pseudo intellectuals/sophistos, I don't think you did anything you should be ashamed of (which you seem logical enough to already understand).

If his hand was in my face, I would...

Re: Question on advice from Rebuen/Ciaffone\'s book

I agree with the posters that say this is dependent.

That being said, in most online games, and sticking with the big assumption that we are against rational players; if you raise here you already...

Re: Bellagio 10/20 hand

Duck,

I really do mean that if he has AA or KK he is overplaying his hand (even more so with KK). Hero has shown strength. He raised in EP, he called a reraise, he check called the flop.

I...

Re: Bellagio 10/20 hand

Why is this guy looking to play such a big pot? If he does have AA or KK, I think he should have just called your fake blocking bet. The pot is already huge for 10/20.

Now that he has raised to...

I am totally inexperienced. I...

Re: New Max Buy ins for NL at the Borg?

[ QUOTE ]
So I read in mid-high NL that the someone went down to the Borgata, 10-25 NL was uncapped and 5/10 had a 2k max-buy in up from 1k? Is this true?

I played in a 5/10 game...
