Re: statspost: 330BB downswing

[ QUOTE ]
If u only played 26K at this level u got no idea if u are a winner or not so u dont know if u are on a dowsnwing or just not beating the game.

My advice: Move down in limit.

Re: Thoughts (correct any inconsistencies)

Re: Steal the pot HU

I think if villain has anything on the flop he will bet it. If he calls the turn with a gutter I at least know he's an überdonk.
I'd like to hear more opinions about this, since it's a common...

Re: One hand, Two turns.

Turn 1: I prolly raise and check the river behind. I can't see button 3bet with an overpair here and let MP pay for a possible flushdraw or weaker pair this way. I call a riverbet from MP if he...

Turn continuation bets

I have a hard time figuring out when to make a continuation bet on the turn OOP (also with position, but less), and it may be one of my leaks. Does any of u have a plan for those situations?
Villain...

Re: TT vs UTG raise to give up on the river.

I think a decent or passive opponent won't bet his flushdraw on the turn when checked to, especially when he knows ur aggro (a c/r is possible)
So in most cases I think bet>check, since he's more...

Re: Failed screw play

This is a line I often take against aggro's. Once villain calls an A-high ragged flop (rather without fd possibilities) he bets the turn about 95% when checked to with smaller aces, pp's or nothing....

Re: Common Spot

Cartman, I remember a post u made a couple of months ago. U compared the results of raising K-high (and lower) overcards with A-high after a flop donk HU. Over a large sample it turned out that...

40 vpip/.6 isn't that passive remember

Yes it is. A player with those stats won't raise with less than 2pair.

Re: Worth river bet?

I like ur line. He will fold to a turn raise in case he's bluffing, but might blufbet the river when u call.

Re: D\'Agostino\'s short-handed advice

I should have said that when u 3bet QT pf, u should just call ur better hands (and c/r the flop for example).

Re: oh no! the ace hits what do i do what do i do what do i do what do i d

I like the c/c turn and river line against players that leave me a hard decision when get raised and may very well (bluf)bet themselves. So I like it

Re: Semi bluff on a scare card

My coach told me I should fold KJs on the button against an UTG raise, so this should be a pretty easy fold against a 14% PFRer

Villain is an unknown LP. Is this an easy continuation bet on the turn?
