I go to vegas at least 5 times a year. Not much I havent seen.

Trip report: Bellagio 12-30. Played a few hands with Mason

Its my first time playing $30-$60. Hadnt played over 8-16 until about a month ago. I was playing real tight, just getting a feel for the game. Seat on my right opens up and Mason sits down. I...

Re: QQ UGH

Bad fold

I wouldnt raise the turn. I dont think I could fold for one bet either. Pot is huge.

You are getting 22 to 1 to call the 3 bet. You have 2 outs to the nuts. Even if BB showed his...

Re: Turn problem

Fold. You arent getting 10 to 1 with 2 other players left to act.

What are you drawing to? A set with 3 hearts on the board and 3 other hands? 5th nut flush against those flop cold calls?

Re: AK -- should I start doing this more often?

I just moved up to live 20/40. The game reminded me of the 3/6 party tables of 2004.

In those HU situations I prefer to bet the turn, fold to a raise, and check the river unimproved.

Many...
