Caribbean Sun

Hiya guys,
I'm starting to take these bonuses a bit more seriously(i.e: frequently) and was thinking i've got time, before NYE, to squeeze in an initial bonus plus a monthly at Interpoker/Caribb....

Re: Resistance is Useless

i'm a bit of a learner but found this post v. interesting.

i have never seen a definition of WA/WB (and would love to if anyone has one), but in this hand:

6 outs equates to approx 1/8 of pot...

Re: cold calling...

hello,
i've been autocalling 22 in this situation(after a bet+CC or limp+raise). Can anyone give guidelines for when this is bad? I guess that you're getting between 2.75-1 and 5-1 PF and then...

Re: i\'m a lag?

Thanks for the responses. I don't know who to believe. My analysis might (now) be that he could have a some pocket pairs, the odd overcard combination, some flushdraws with other hands less likely....

Re: i\'m a lag?

i was also wondering what turn cards people would bet on (the alternative being the check-fold?) in this hand and the (imaginary) hand where T on flop replaced by 9.

Re: Wait for the turn for more equity or not?

sorry if this is old news, but i was thinking....

to get a better estimate for the 3.8% figure maybe could use SSHE ("tight" in my calculations).

i started off finding the total number of hands...

Re: How bad is this flop raise?

Flop: my donkishness estimates 3 outs; getting 11.5-1 with players behind, is this not a clear fold.

PF: maybe i shouldn't just quote better poker players than me, but AJs is, according to the boy...

Re: Daily Hand Post: two similar QQ hands

i've been comparing this to hand quiz in SSHE where overcard to queens is king and 5players to flop (10.5sb).

Miller says raise with the BDFD(which is 2nd nut), but doesn't really take a stance...

Re: AQs -- a standard 3/6 hand?

o yeah, and if you're thinking about semibluffing what stats from PT do people use?

what about folds% / (folds% + call%) on the particular street as the rough guide?

Re: AQs -- a standard 3/6 hand?

sorry if i'm being gay but i was thinking:
seeing as the board is paired (your draw weakened and your pot equity possibly 0), you probably need a decent chance of both players folding for a turn bet...

Re: PT 20K Hand Stat Check-Up

could you use your stats to find 1SD(or whatever) ranges of the bet/raise/.. stats? Would this be helpful for plugging leaks?

Re: a 2/4 hand

A check-raise was unlikely.
Current stats are 0% of 112 hands for LAP
0.42% of 551 hands for TAA.

I was comparing this to hand quiz 1) in SSHE turn hand quizzes, where a bet is...
