Re: 15/30 JJ

Judging from your many well thought out posts, I am of the opinion that anybody who plays with you realizes that you are very aggressive. This will certainly stick in the mind of your opponents here....

Re: AJo 15/30 hand

I hate this play. I think the 3-bet is pretty bad, but if your read told you these guys would raise or call with worse hands than your holding fine. I think you can lay down preflop without losing...

Re: JTo in the CO.

[ QUOTE ]
I don't think folding the flop is an option. We're against two aggressive players and we have top pair and a flush draw. We have way too much to just be folding.

Re: The Oaks 15-30

oh yeh. They spread 1/2, 2/4, 3/6, 6/12 and 30/60 (fridays) holdem. The 6/12 plays like a party 1/2 maybe worse depending upon the time. All very good games. They also spread stud games, lowball and...

Re: The Oaks 15-30

This game is a joke. Even many of the regulars are rather terrible. Go sit in this game on a Friday at about 9:00pm and you won't believe some of these idiots. I say friday because the games are...

Re: JTo in the CO.

some serious spewage here. Do you always play top pair (mediocre kicker) in this manner? Yes, there is remote possibility that your hand is good on this flop. By remote, I mean that you should fold...

Re: how are the games at the party skins now??

Very bad indeed. If you play 5/10 limit or higher then the $600 bonus at euro is ok. The games aren't that great and the table selection is minimal for 5/10 and 10/20 but the bonus clears pretty fast...

Re: how often do you find yourself getting into pissing contests like this

Obviously not often. Your preflop play is horrendous unless you have reason to believe MP2 is an idiot. 8 handed is not nearly short enought to start pretending you are playing 5 handed. Q10s is not...

Re: What do you think of Eurobet?

I was replying to OP, so my comments are not really relevent to SH play. With such a high rake structure I would try and avoid the SH tables. The full tables are chock full of bad players. I was...

Re: What do you think of Eurobet?

The $600 bonus obviously clears super fast at the 5/10 mand above. The idea that these games are rock gardens is completely inaccurate. if you can't beat the 5/10 game at euro (assuming you are not...

Re: Limit holdem books- playing overcards.

[ QUOTE ]
I think that for the 'obvious' situations MLH gives correct answers but it's wrong on a lot of the close ones.

Re: Limit holdem books- playing overcards.

My personal opinion is that "Middle Limit Holdem" has the best advice regarding overcards with tons of examples. Yes, some of the plays may be too tight, but they are generally marginal situations in...

Re: PSYCH QUEST: 60K Tilt-Free, A-Game Hands at 10/20 6-max

"This isn't a "60K in 60 days" type of post, with a set monetary goal over a set amount of time. The target, rather, will be this: a winrate of 18BB per hour at 10/20 6-max over the next 60K hands I...

on a different note, I have found that the mid level limit tables have many idiots that don't know how to play well postflop. That...
