Re: getting value out of quads 200 6max

I think you lead the turn with a min-bet that looks like you are trying to get a cheap diamond or Q and pray that he raises you. Then you call. Then lead out with a 1/3 pot bet on the river.

Re: 400nl AK turn decision vs. deep opponent

Well thats why I said kinda. There would be a chance you are good and a good chance you are dead. IDK what to call that lol.

Re: Weak-tight or well-done? TPTK, NL200

[ QUOTE ]
Bet a little more on the flop. Fold to his flop c/r. As played definitely fold turn.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't think betting more on that flop will do anything. It's dry. You are...

Re: 400nl AK turn decision vs. deep opponent

Well the bet on the river is a semi-bluff kinda. I think you are right here that if he calls you on the turn you probably are behind and that is the reason for the bet. The draw won't call. But...

Re: 400nl AK turn decision vs. deep opponent

The Stop and Go move usually means that he has a draw. A blank hit and he figured that a bet here would confuse you and take you off your hand or let him have a cheap river. He figures you wouldn't...

Re: PP $200 - TT as overpair

No one wants to fire that turn? Seemed like the best spot to make one last bet and get the hell out if raised. Might as well pretend you have the flush. Or maybe even a CR/AI. Give up on the...

Re: deepish PP $200 - Q4o turns full-house

I think you shouldn't have shoved that turn. He still has 160 or so behind him so I think that the shove here might scare him off. He is a tight nit... I don't think he will call here with TPGK...

Re: Steal/resteal 2/4 6 max NL Stars

I think that the best play here preflop is to reraise to $160. From there I think the hand basicly plays itself. He has another $160 left in his stack if he calls so you would be getting 3-1 on...

Re: AT in the BB

Why are you calling a 12xBB preflop raise with A10o AND shortstacked? Then you lead out on the flop with a tiny little bet with just a gutshot on a 3 to a flush board? You expecting a fold there? ...

Re: How many mistakes did I make with this hand?

Very true /images/graemlins/smile.gif Didn't realize my contradiction when I was typing. But yes very good point. Even so, I think a call of the original raise then reevaluating the turn is a good...

Re: NL25 Easy fold w/ JJ, right?

I would say thats a great fold. If you think about it, the only hands that would really 3 bet preflop is AA,KK,QQ,AKs and MAYBE JJ or AQs. Unless this guy is a maniac; you are ahead of only AKs and...

Re: How many mistakes did I make with this hand?

You guys wouldn't call here? Barring he has the nuts, a lot of cards here would help on the turn. Any king, any 9 or even a diamond gives you more outs. I would call and see a turn then decide...

Re: AA Flop play?

Thats what I did. But I was thinking maybe I could call and shove a heart but I guess the stack sizes are just too small for this to work. He had top set so I was drawing to about 3.5 outs there.

Re: When will people get sick of gangster rap?

[ QUOTE ]
Basically I can do the same thing with a B.I.G song or a Tupac song from 1995, and then listen to a Jay Z song from 2000, and then a 50 Cent song from 2005, and as an outsider I can say...

Re: Nut flush draw w/ mid pair....

I personally would have instant called it. And now that I think about it that would have been an easy call.

Re: Nut flush draw w/ mid pair....

Why are you min-raising him on the flop? You should have juiced that way up. You have mid pair, probably an over card plus the nut flush draw. You should be willing to gamble here. You should...

Re: 5/10 flop puzzle

You should have made it bigger than 50 preflop since you are OOP. But on that flop you are looking pretty dead. Chances are you are behind. I would probably check fold here. There are 4 players...

Re: Aks, multiway, blah blah

I think the flop bet was too small. You had 2 overs with the nut flush draw and a bd straight draw. You wanted to take it down right there since you were a favorite over QQ, JJ or any other pair...
