Re: Would you make this move?

Rarely if ever is calling w/ 56o correct. You need three or four callers before you, and even then... it's a toss up. Suited? I like calling with it anywhere in these games and taking in a flop.

Re: Would you make this move?

No one can see your turn or river action.

Re: Too timid?

1.) Preflop: To raise or not too raise. I think it was probably a good line to just take a look at the texture of the flop.

2.) Flop: I hate calling a raise w/ one pair even if it is TPTK. I'd...

Re: AA- reraise to isolate an all in?

I'm probably way too overprotective of AA - so I typically like to get as much money in as possibe whenever I can.

Re: AA- reraise to isolate an all in?

1.) Preflop I don't think $8 is terrible, but at Foxwoods where the game sounds like it's typically the same - I open every hand worth raising for $10 UTG. You'll get calls from garbage like KJ and...

Re: Vaginitis with a BB special?

I think this is intelligent. Keep it as small as possible, and call down.

Re: KK played too weak?

1.) Preflop: I like a raise to $1.50
2.) Flop: I like a full pot bet.
3.) Turn: 2/3-3/4 pot bet.

Play accordingly from there.

Re: the weirdest hand i\'ve ever lost...

You do want him in there, no one is saying that you don't want him in there.

What you want to do is charge him the most you can to draw out on you.

Re: the weirdest hand i\'ve ever lost...

1.) You're giving subpar hands a good price to suck out on you - if you want to keep doing that, then by all means continue to do so.

2.) On the flop, I don't hate your bet, but I think against...

Re: boring 6-max hand

I think this looks fine. That weak turn bet looks like KJ or KT. Hopefully you didn't get sucked out by K9 on the river, but otherwise, I think you're in good shape most of the time. 22 is a...

Re: When youre up against an overpair...

1.) Fold preflop.

2.) Looks good thereafter. If he has QQ, that's poker.

Re: if you were me.

Also $1500 is healthy bank roll to play on the NL50s. I'd say anything more than $1500 is probably overkill. That should allow you the both of best worlds. You can buy a new monitor and save...

Re: if you were me.

Here are a couple very cheap options for monitors. I really suggest you buy a new one as they make life a lot less frustrating.

You can get this really nice 19" Flatscreen LCD: $261 -...

Re: the weirdest hand i\'ve ever lost...

1.) PF - Your reraise is awful. Make it at least $8 to play. You want to charge subpar hands to see this flop.

2.) The turn minraise almost ALWAYS means big hand. You're likely up against a set...

Re: AJ in SB family pot, flops middle pair

Why get involved?

Fold, and wait for a better spot.

Re: Two small pair in the SB, a LAG, and a calling station.

Let's think for a second about what you have beat here that's going to get raised and then cold called... hmmm... yep, nothing.

This should have been a flop lay down. 77, 55, 44, 68, 63 have you...

Re: PLEASE Help...Question regarding my \"quality\" of play

Stop cashing out your winnings.

You're going to have a bad day, and you're going to lose that 300 and feel like the world has ended.

If you're serious about poker, you need to keep a sizable...

Re: PL 200 6-max: How\'s this with AQs in BB?

That board is also nice, because your in the BB, and could have a garbage hand you were trying to "protect" and that flop could have hit you fairly squarely in the face w/ a shovel.

Re: PL 200 6-max: How\'s this with AQs in BB?

Looks reasonable.

If Villain is tricky, I might just try and draw at price. What was your plan if he reraised or called, you bricked, and he led the pot again?

Re: KK faces preflop 4-bet and cold caller

You have four people calling $1.75 here. What are you trying to accomplish by giving them all great odds to kill you on the flop when you virtually minraise to $4.00. You need to make this like $10...

Re: Backdoor flush, raise or call?

You could be way ahead or way behind on that card. He may have something like AKs, QQ, but he could also have AQ, KQ, QJ if he's as much of a fish as you say he is.

You're getting a great price...

Re: This hand is a mess. Please fix it. (6max underpair)

I don't think you're in position to be playing TT against this guy like this. What's your plan when he leads the turn for $20-25? Are you going to call w/ TT?

That J on the river isn't a a good...
