Re: Foxwoods WPT Number of Entries

So far every tournament leading up to the main event has had more players then last year. So I would guess the 800 will be pretty close. So far the field sizes have been pretty easy to predict.

Re: Foxwoods WPT O-8 Tournament - Life saved

Any chance you were at table 6 or 7? If the doctor you were referriong to was the man in the Harvard sweatshirt, then yes he was a very nice man and very quick to act when Billy went down.

On a...

Foxwoods O/8 10/31 - Finished?

So how'd everyone do today? I finished about 45th and got bounced on a super bad beat. Can't complain too much that was my 5th time to the felt. Was down to 125 in chips not long after 12pm and...

Re: Turns out important things DO come in the mail sometimes.

Had the same thing happen to me in April. Luckily got pulled over in the town I grew up in by someone I knew. They told me to go back to my parents house and register online. My renewal was due in...

Re: who are the best 5/10 6max players?

Not all of these are good players, just running very good right now.

Re: is this good or not good?

I like the PF 3-bet.

Using the given stats as a read, flop action seems fine. I would check/fold on the turn. Against a tight passive, then the c/r - bluff may induce a fold, but this guy seems...

Problem using PT for 6max, help please.

For some reason, I have hands showing up as 4 or 5 seats from the button and not a blind. Its also not rcoginizing when I am the button correctly. Part of the problem must be coming from Party as I...

Party 5/10, SB vs BB. How weak was this?

Less then 50 hands with this opponent, so assume no read. Nothing out of line at least. What should I have done differently?

Sorry no converter, I deleted the file already.

Hero is SB - Q...

Re: do i value bet A-high against a \"brownTrowt\"?

Value betting the river is bad in my opinion. I would have 3-bet PF or call then c/r flop. Throw in a raise while its cheap to find out where you stand. Then take command on a blank turn if he...

Re: The downswing continues: looking for leaks.

Maybe its just my rock garden tendencies, but from these hands I would say you are getting involved with marginal/bad hands in bad position. Hand 1. 55 in the BB 3-handed for a raise is fine, but...

Re: Party 10/20 - First session at this level, FLAME AWAY

Thanks for the comments. Looking back, I knew I had screwed up this hand and got lucky, which is why I posted it. The river bet, was definitely my worst move. I am not pushing him off any pair. ...

Party 10/20 - First session at this level, FLAME AWAY

I had been at the table for about 30 hands. UTG had played almost half the hands and was pretty fishy. BB had not gotten out of line, but not much of a read. I welcome all comments about all...

Re: Hey Joe

Very nice raise. If I were to play that hand I would have had to come over the top all-in and did not want to do that with ATs for obvious reasons. Especially with a healthy stack that early in the...

Ending between 6pm-8pm?

Do you plan on starting at 9am. This rock garden will be there all night. For Christ sakes, if I didn't feel like going to get laid, the last tourney would have gone at least another hour. ...

Re: Hey Joe

Let's see if I can think of this exactly. A few hands earlier I had called jstrgnr (to your left) all-in with ATs, he had TT. It was the 1st level of antes and blinds were 500/1000. This was about...

$20 Bounty on Slow Play Ray

I'd make it more, except it shouldn't be too tough to collect. Oh yeah, and Ray if you call off all your chips with the worst hand, then I'll pay you the $20 for being a dumbass. ...
