Re: Partymine going to be obsolete?

You say "They'll outlaw scraping" like that's the end of it. The thing is, if I can open as many instances of Party as I want, and load 4 tables on each w/o logging in, I don't much care...

Re: I call down with AKs

Looks good to me. Villan only needs to be playing a worse A high 13% of the time to make this call profitable. A TAG is likely to play a low A high against a possible steal this way.

3/6 6 Max: Blind Defense Hand

This is probably a pretty boring and standard hand for most of you, but I am trying to get better in defense situations so hopefully you will humor me.

Hero is in the BB with T...

Re: 5/10 JJ hand

Any read on SB? This looks good to me. Assuming he is not a real LAG, the way he plays the hand he likely has AA, KK, 77, AK, KQs, maybe KJs. You are behind most of those. I think just calling the...

Re: Fed up with Poker Ace suckiness

What are the specs on your PC and how big are the databases you have PA looking at.

I used to run PA on 4 tables and have it reading databases that totaled about 3.5 million hands. All with only...

Re: Party 3/6 6 max: Against a TAG

Fair enough. You guys have convinced me that a 3 bet here is not my best play. Thanks for the feedback!

Re: Party 3/6 6 max: Against a TAG

Two votes for a fold so far. What range of hands are you putting UTG on here?

Party 3/6 6 max: Against a TAG

A buddy of mine and I were debating this play earlier. Assume UTG and Button are both solid tight aggressive players. They play equally well as each other both pre and post flop. The SB in this hand...

Bad fold. Paired boards are the most commonly bluffed at boards, in my experience. Even slightly passive players will bluff here. You need to call down against someone with only 10...

Hand 1, fold the flop one time. You whiffed and your overcards are unholy (you wont know when they're good or not). Also you run the risk of the button having a hand. You don't win often...

Party 3/6 6 max: Two hands against a LAG

Villan in both of these hands had stats of (50/18/.95). While his overall post flop aggression was.95 his river aggression was 2.35. He has shown throughout the session he will lead the flop with and...

Party 3/6 6 max: K9s on the button

The CO in this hand seems to have a decent starting hand selection, but in 200 hands has never raised preflop (27/0). He also seems to be fairly passive postflop. The SB is your typical loose passive...

Party mine is worth it's price tag. As far as alternatives, short of opening tables yourself I don't believe there is one.

Re: I hate every part of this hand

Is calling two cold out of position here standard for most people? I think I generally fold this hand preflop.

The rest of the hand looks fine to me.
