Re: tough spot with JJ

Am i the only one who thinks this is an easy fold, although not one that you can make all the time. This is why i'm bad at online, in live play you can almost always feel where you are in this spot....

Re: River spot

i think betting and folding stinks. The hands that will pay off are A3 A5 88 99 TT (can't remember the high card on the board, but i'm assuming he can't have jacks, and even 99 or TT seems like a...

Re: 25/50 flopped flush

you should be 50 dollars richer by the end of this hand most the time than when you take this line. Sets will give you action, maybe even cap if it's top set, and you want that a lot, nut flush will...

Re: Unusual Hand vs. Allen Cunningham

why would you just smooth call against such a skilled and experienced opponent? What are you going to trap him? what about when an ace comes. He is a wealthy professional tournament player who is...

i honestly put him on a flush draw. My thinking was that on the flop he had me beat, but then checking behind on the turn meant he watned a free card to draw at, obviously a four can't help him...

Re: Minor spewage with KJo

he wouldn't piss himself if he 4 bet the turn he would just fold. Doesn't anyone else think the guy just had JT or AT? Those are hands people that are sincere say stuff like "i hope i get lucky"...

Re: Live 40/80 flop middle pair with a backdoor flush

I think calling is better than raising the flop, with the intention of raising a lot of turn cards, and folding to a few others. If an offsuit 8-J falls and he still bets, then i think a fold is the...

Re: hand vs excellent player, limit satellite

Folding this pre-flop wouldn't be such a big mistake, all you need to do is survive one more elimination and the blinds will quickly eat up one of these two shorter stacks. that being said once you...

Re: Flopped a straight - 20/40 Live

3-betting the turn i would think is the right play. The chances that you are losing right now (and thus drawing dead to an offsuit queen) are slim, if you are in that situation, you don't even watn...

Re: Empire 30/60 LAGs Scare Me - a hand

i wouldn't be SHOCKED if you won the hand. but i don't really like it. I wouldn't raise this river at all, personally i think he has A9 suited. But equally possible is he has AT and bet cause he...

Re: KK, weak tight turn fold?

the only had that the BB could have that you beat is A /images/graemlins/heart.gif K /images/graemlins/heart.gif unless he is a total nut job. I don't know if folding is right in that spot, but...

I'm playing a lot of full ring these days. I'm in the drunkest and most incoherent shape of my life; I couldn't feel better. The game was 2-4, 9 players at the Imperial Palace. The taste...

Re: I\'ve decided to start posting again: 20-40 SH

Re: Playing poker for a living (my experience so far) HELP!

Re: I\'ve decided to start posting again: 20-40 SH

Re: Party 20/40 - 99
