Re: Wilson software
Though the advisor is wrong in this instance, I find the wilson software to be a great training aid.

Re: I\'m done
Thanks for posting Jon. Your situation and mind set mirrors mine exactly. I was averaging 4BB/100 at $2-$4 Stud8 over 1500 hands, thought I was good. Lost 50BB over 1500 hands this weekend. Poor...

Re: A value bet
Decided to revive this thread as we have many new posters of late. This is one of the best posts I have read at this site, Good job Andy B. I think of this post everytime I fail to make the obvious...

Re: Multitabling stud

Re: If you never bluffed...
I play low limit ($2-$4) stud/8 and I rarely bluff. I will only semi-bluff or bluff at a pot if I know my opponents are capable of being bluffed. I have had more success by waiting for strong hands...

Re: Wilson\'s Turbo Stud and Stud/8
I have both Turbo Stud and Stud 8 as well as Turbo Hold em. They are excellent training aids. No you do not have as many options to control your opponents play as Turbo Hold Em, but I am satisfied...

Re: How does everyone recover from tilt?
I usually play tighter. Don't try to win your money back all at once. You aren't going to come out on top every time you play. Learn to minimize your losses, but discipline yourself to accept leaving...

Re: Basic Stud odds/outs calculations
The original Super System has an odds chart for 7 stud in the back of of the book. I have the Wilson Turbo program, which also supplies odds calculations as each hand develops.

Re: Comments on this stud 8 hand?
I fold on 3rd with this one. Good raise though as you were able to get heads up with the presumed lows. Good raise on 4th as well, I would play it the same after 4th as you are pretty much committed...

Re: Stud/8 (Bankroll Question)
You can safely play $1-$2 with as little as $100.00. The worst single session loss I have had at that level was $90 over 4 hours of play.
