Re: Last Chance to Pay Less Taxes

[ QUOTE ]

Re: I watched Knight Rider when I was little

i dont like the raise preflop. limp instead. you might as well not represent ace high. that just puts you in a reverse implied odd situation. (see my openlimping on the button post for more on my...

against tricky/lag type players only raise if you dont fear getting bluffed off your...

Re: HU FPS against a fish

if you really think hell call your flop raise with no pair and fold the turn then i think the turn check is reasonable since hes probably drawing dead. but having that information isnt enough to...

Re: In which I fold a straight (no flush or boat possible)

i took into consideration a 3bet/cap and here are my thoughts:

MP doesnt have a KJ. he didnt cap the turn. i dont believe it. if hes foolish enough to 3bet a naked jack on the turn and the button...

Re: In which I fold a straight (no flush or boat possible)

button has 2.3af so even if he just had a naked jack hed probably raise it since hes a little overaggro. hes probably not the type to go for overcalls. however, button raised the flop and there...

Re: Live hand: Bottom pair, ugly river

i dont really like the turn checkraise against this guy. you said he thinks youre making moves on him so hes not folding a better hand for sure. all that will happen is that you checkraise the turn...

Re: $60k in 60 Days - Days 1 and 2

how many total number of hands are you trying to get in to crack the 60k? obviously there needs to be a certain number to make it to even if you maintain your believed winrate of 2BB+/100. if you ran...

Re: Dell/Samsung Flat Panel Monitor Questions

iirc:

the lowest the 2001fp has gone for is around 460 and it goes for that price regularly with coupons.

the 2005 doesnt have 1600x1200 resolution. even though its 20.5" its only like...

Re: Too weak? - AQo

i agree with you that a flop check with the intention of calling down against postflop lags is sound strategy here. if youre afraid that youll often get raised off the best hand and cant call down...

Re: Which street is worst?

i think the worst street is the turn.

preflop is ok, maybe a little -ev but not much.

flop check is reasonable since you have no folding equity and the only hope you have of taking this pot...

Re: Averge BB/hr rate for a \"good\" player- $2/4 limit games???

it sounds like youre asking if youd be able to beat 2/4 for upwards of 2BB/100 with your knowledge of the game. from an honest perspective from how you sound i dont find it likely. a very good player...

****I wasn't sure where to post this because it of course doesn't pertain to poker, but since alot of poker players have to deal with health insurance on their own I thought I'd post it here. If it's...
