Re: Live Hand: Pop it now or later?

Ok here is what happened. First I'll go through my thought process. Tell me whether you agree or disagree and why (thats more important than the results):

1) I recognized that there aren't that...

Re: Live Hand: Pop it now or later?

Really? Thats a little weak tight don't you think? As for the "mindset" its based on what is likely since it is very difficult to put either of them on a hand due to their loose limping ranges.

On...

Live Hand: Pop it now or later?

4/8 Live at Riverrock Casino

Generally passive table with the exception of UTG and UTG+1
UTG is a little less passive than most, but his aggression is generally misplaced. I seen him check raise...

Re: Stumbling Through Purgatory

Preflop fine, Flop fine. Seems like SB probably has AK and missed.

We need reads. Absent reads, I fold to check/raise. Unlike BB is a complete donkey, he is not pulling this check/raise given the...

Re: Live Game - Incorporating reads

You're right - I like your insight on the turn bet. I don't know why, but even at tighter tables (2/4, 3/6, or 4/8 live) turns never get raised unless someone hit 2 pair or higher.

Anyway here are...

Re: Live Game - Incorporating reads

Sweet analysis Guru! Thanks. We should, however, highly discount BB's C/R because its unlikely he hit anything in usually.

Live Game - Incorporating reads

4/8 Game at Riverrock Casino. Typical table full of LPPs, with a one or two LAG and TPP.

Reads - Button is super weak tight. I've seen her just call with AK, AQ. Wouldn't generally raise unless...

Re: Are these snowmen good?

Really? I've been less aggressive preflop in NL based on the posts I see here in the NL forum. Anyone have a good PF guide? I searched and I always see the "money is made post flop" argument.

For...

Yeah you must have helped me out with a numerous posts in the micros. Hey is there a good link to a preflop guide for NL from 2+2ers? I searched the forusm but I generally get the "its postflop play...

Re: AA Hand - Correct amounts to Bet?

Ok that make sense. Now I don't really have that strong of a read. If I call how would you play the turn? The turn gives a straight possibility. Is it a check/call line or a bet/fold line? And how...

Thanks Grunch - that was extremely helpful. I must stop this limit hold'em based ram and jam mentality on the flop /images/graemlins/grin.gif

AA Hand - Correct amounts to Bet?

Reads - table relatively passive. Villain is about the 24/8/1 type. I haven't seen him show down many hands so I don't have a strong read.

I'm new to NL$25 so any comments greatly appreciated -...
