Re: 2-4NL, will i ever establish myself at this limit??

There's nothing wrong with using the money that exceeds 20 buyins for NL$200 to shoot at NL$400. It's your own conciderations about risk/reward that decide these things, not any one else's. If some...

I have no opinion on the matter, but I'd just like to point out that the OP clearly states that the first 32 people who PM him are...

Re: Our own HU tourney

I'll play. $300 sounds like a good number, but I'm in anyway.

Re: Post your best expert play!

That's standard. The counter to this move is something I might look into doing a bit more against a certain type of players (players like myself, for example). Call flop with a monster in position,...

Re: Strong hand facing river overbet

I'd fold. As stated earlier, the straight draw is the only hand you beat.

Re: is there a way to lose less?

Folding preflop is one way of doing it.

If I'm going to play, I would either fold to the minraise, or lead the turn, fold to a raise and check fold this river.

Yesterday was alright

Variance has treated me horribly lately. A 15-ish buyin downswing in NL$400 and taking too much out of my bankroll for spending, has forced me to grind NL$100 and $200 full ring for a week's time....

Re: Two personal beliefs and their consequences

Meh. It would also be decided before hand what the demon would tell you. Really, the scenario doesn't show anything.

Re: 3-way pre-flop all-in with AK, 400NL

Fold. You are never ahead of UTG. And even if he will have a pocket pair lower than KK sometimes and AK sometimes, it's not worth it.

Re: Short Stack against H@LLINGOL and BBuddy

I don't get how they accepted your presence. They should've just sat out.

EDIT: Well, maybe because you didn't apply sound short stack strategy, like this hand shows.

I fold flop or turn and I like the river.
