I think this is a really horrible move. you have quite a lot of chips left even after the blinds have passed. 2550 is plenty to sit and wait for a better hand then 87s. It is a multiway action hand...

I think you should have flat called the 500. You then have position in the hand and can fold on the flop only losing the 500 you have invested. With the blinds at 75/150 QQ is not much of a reraising...
