Poker Tracker Guide

Does anyone own this? Is it worth getting?

I just got PT last. I can get by, but I don't think I'm utilizing all its functions just yet.

Cheers.

Re: Busted out in first hand as alternate

Also the over cards are most likely outs, so there're possibibly 15 outs. I'd be close to 50/50 to double up. I didn't like calling or just raising as it would leave me with a very short stack...

Busted out in first hand as alternate

Local Tournament with 9 tables. Entry fee with rebuy is $200. I'm alternate 18 as the 108th player to sign up. By the way, how do you feel playing as alternate? A few seasoned tournament players...

Re: No Limit Hand at Foxwoods - Bad beat or bad playing?

I would think you'd be up against a set when he raises you to 900 at the turn, so you would gamble he doesn't get the 10 outs. I thought you played well and got victimized.

This game can be extemely crude. Since my post, I lost to 1 out on river (I turned trip 7 against 2 opponents both with Ax and A773 on board, and the last A came on river), and another hand with my...

Combatting downturns

I've been playing for about a year now with fairly decent success. I play mostly online on party and occasionally in B&M. Every now and then, especially on party, we all encounter bad stretches...

Re: PartyPoker \"Cracked\"

[ QUOTE ]
Knowing when your AA and KK will get sucked out on is worth the 30 bucks alone.

Everytime I fold these preflop due to my "Cracked" edge, it saves me atleast 4 BB.

Re: Limit Hold\'em Tournament Question

Why do you say you're in a disadvantage position with a big pocket pair? This doesn't make sense.

Raising would generally not kick out the limpers, so I would not raise with 6's or below. Middle...

Short Stack w/ Pocket 3\'s

Blinds are 300/600 playing 600/1200 in a local tournament with around 90 entries. I am short stacked with 2100. UTG, with about 4000 (no read/new to table), raised to 1200. I am next to act with...
