Re: No, not an oversite
I will accept responsibility and have noted that I need to reword my article to address the significant difference between a 'random hand' vs 'any two'. ZJ is right in that a random such as 23o, can...

As a general reply to what has been said so far:
I do indeed understand independant chip models and why chips are not on a linear correlation with $EV. There has been disagreement with what I...

Just wanted to add that I wrote an article about blind stealing that may be pertinent to this discussion. In short, it gives a mathematical argument for pushing marginal (and junk) hands in many late...

Re: Having trouble (Long list of replayer hands)
Hand 1: Played ok in terms of pot odds. Depending on the player, the turn may have been questionable, but probably ok 90% of the time.
Hand 2: Given the chances for straight/flush draws on the...

Re: Skill levels from 55-215??? RoI expected??
Just thought to share that my ROI actually increased from the $30 game to the $50 game. Starting out with 1000 chips at the $50 level is a greater advantage it seems than the disadvantage of playing...

Thanks for the posts guys - looks like it's pretty evenly split, with good reasons for pushing and calling.
In the end, I ended up pushing on this pot. My biggest fear was getting two callers of...
