Re: Live Tells

I play low limit. The one tell I have seen most the time at this level is the player glancing down at the chips when the flop hits them.

Re: I smell a rat. Is this collaboration or what?

Off-topic, but you may want to wait for the blinds instead of posting UTG+1.

Re: Paired board- raised on the turn

Thanks for the replies. At least I don't feel as bad paying the slowplayers off. (Another question- would your thought process be different if the flop was Q88 and they check-raised when the 7 hit...

Paired board- raised on the turn

I would like some opinions on what you would do in this situation I see come up time and time again. Assume a typical micro game (5+ playing preflop).

You raise pre-flop with a big pocket pair...

Re: The dumbest play I have ever seen

The only way he can chop is if all 3 other players hold 43.
While it is unlikely due to the preflop action (missed that), he may have dumped a hopless hand such as this. Sure he may have won, but...

Re: The dumbest play I have ever seen

If he had a hand like 4 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 3 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif he would have had no chance of winning

Limp with Axo due to multiple posters?

Ran into this situation today, and it made me wonder how much to relax starting requirements with multiple posters.

This was a typical micro table- usually about 5 players preflop, with not much...

Re: Party confirms DOS attack

Party says they are working on ways to fend off these attacks. How does a site ward off a DOS attack?

Re: Hmm may have messed up on this one...

Why do you consider this trash? I could maybe see this comment valid if he is UTG, but he is LP after 4 limpers.

Re: Is this guy a fish, or is he brilliant?

I don't know if I would call him a fish or brilliant- weak more than anything. He chickened out and feared you had trip 5s. At least he saved you probably 1 big bet.

Re: Party Upgrade

Thanks for the update. I look forward to installing the upgrade and checking it out. Good to see a site actually listening to players gripes and acting on it.

Re: Bad Beats

Hand one would qualify for a bad beat in most instances. Hand two would not.

Re: Bad Beats

It looks like you were involved in the second hand. How did you manage that? The blinds were only 15/30. Did you feel you were ahead at any time? Looks like you badly overplayed your hand.

Re: don\'t drive out the fish!

I would say the 'scarers' are average players who have a grasp of good hands, pot odds, etc. But they get mad when their 'good' hand gets sucked out on and start berating the bad player. I'd say I...

Re: Did I play this one right?

I would have bet or check raised the flop. It just would have lost you more money against the 82o in this situation. Nothing you can do about them playing those card except hope they continue to do...

Re: Watch and learn

And no 7 opponents in the pot. And the number of BBs won are also less in the 3/6 vs. .50/1

Even though you are not going to win as many pots at the lower limit- I'd still take my chances...
