starting hand chart for short-handed games

Can someone point me to a chart for short-handed? I'm sure it's even less useful than in a full game since you have to adapt even more, but my VPIP is a bit high right now (45) so I need to get a...

Classic WA/WB situation.

[/ QUOTE ]

Sorry to interrupt with the newbie question, but what is the correct way to play out the classic WA/WB situation? Is it calling down?

Are you saying that it's better to call with 76o than QJo in this situation? If so, then you just blew my mind. I would call...

Re: when to slow down

I think it means that villain was being tricky by slowplaying his top set. This saved me a big bet (2 SB actually) because I would have happily capped it.

Re: when to slow down

I find a LOT of callers calling with crap here, a raise often means they have a little something. The board was so uncoordinated (no flush potential either, btw) that I really started to put him...

when to slow down

Pacific .50/1. Unraised preflop. 77 on a flop of T 7 3.

Flop he bet, I raise, he calls.

Turn is a 3, I bet out, we both raise until it is capped.

River is a Q, As I continue to raise I...

Re: do I have enough outs to call?

Many of you are saying that the over cards are not worth 3 each, maybe only 1.5. I'm just thinking now that all 3 kings might be worth almost 1 each, since I'll beat any Ace rag when a king hits and...

Re: Some confusing action on the flop

Good question, thanks for asking. I was sort of regretting the flop call as soon as I did it. Then when the 7 came on the turn and added to the potential straight, it made the fold easy.

When...

Re: Some confusing action on the flop

Yes, I'm starting to see it. I finally got to the point where I'm fairly aware of my outs, always aware of the size of the pot. Now it seems I have to shift my focus to interpreting the action,...

nervous about graduating

I'm about to make 300 BB on the .25/.50 at UB and my plan is to move up to .50/1 once I get there. I've been keeping a spreadsheet for the last 2500 hands just keeping track of the bottom line. Not...

Re: calling over cards in a big pot

My thinking, the pot is 13BB at that point. The chance that he was bluffing to that point with out even an ace is remote I admit, but I thought he would bet a flush draw and then bluff it at the...

Re: calling over cards in a big pot

I called the turn because the pot was 18 SB and it was 2 to call. 9 to 1 odds and if K or Q was still good then I only needed 6.5 to 1 to call. If he's on a flush draw then only four of them are...

Re: Too tricky with the nuts?

Don't you have to raise this to protect your hand, since your hand is not the pure nuts? While it's true that there's no potential for Villain to have str8 flush, you don't have one either, so if...
