Re: RIIIIIIVEERRRRR - 33
This has to be a raise. K9, Q9 are the only hands to be afraid of and the Villain's possible range of hands here seems pretty big to me. You bet that flop in position, against the blinds, who had...

Re: Who like this?
This isn't +EV in fact I think it's usually -EV depending on the game you are in. The field is too big and your position too bad to have even a remote chance of winning this pot simply by betting....

Re: Q8s Play Along
I think this definately depends on the blinds. If a raise is likely to fold the blinds I raise here and isolate the CO, especially if you've shown down some premium hands already. If the blinds...

Re: Who like this?
I don't like it. You have a medium suited ace with 4 limpers and the SB already in the pot. You could easily be raising when dominated if there are some tight/passive players amongst those limpers....

Re: Bottom set on 3 flush flop decision
Im smooth calling here for a couple of reasons. First I want the 2 limpers to call with an ace or a mid-range heart and I'm worried a 3-bet might fold them. Second, like you said your edge is a lot...

Re: Bet this river?
I think I'm checking behind on this river. MP1 has only raised 1 of the 11 hands he's played, so although he's laggy, preflop it seems he isn't TOO wild (though admitedly 20 hands is not exactly an...

Posting with a weak ace
Obviously its my first hand at the table, so no reads.
I took a minute when the turn was bet and decided that I was most likely up against a set of 10s, or a made gutshot. An ace was also...

Villain here is 65% vpip, 6% pfr, 6.5 af.
How's this look? When I was 3-bet on the turn I figured I was behind but couldnt fold for one bet on the river.

In the following hand UTG+1 is a tight/agressive player with a 18%vpip 9%pfr and 2.2 af. The SB is a loose calling station with 59% vpip 0% pfr and 0.5 af.
Here is the hand with my thoughts street...

Two questions: is the preflop call reasonable? with at least a 5 way pot I figure I have the odds to try and spike to pull down a nice pot.
Second: is this the right line here? I figured a raise...

Playing AK out of Position with rags on the board
