Re: Straight.Flush Frequency

Thanks. In the last 5000 hands I've had (hands that were not folded):

One Pair --- 65 hands won - 64%W$SD
Two Pair --- 54 - 85%
Trips ------ 20 - 95%
Straight --- 16 - 88%
Flush ------ 16 -...

Straight.Flush Frequency

Is there an average/expected number of straights/flushes for a given hand range? e.g how many straight/flushes would you expect to see (on average) for 10k hands? 100k hands?

I think a while back...

Playing in very loose games

What sort of strategy changes should be made when playing in very loose games? For example, lets say the table averages, not including my own, are around 45-50/10/1.2.

Alot more limping in LP...

Re: Thoughts on table image

Very interesting point. I've wondered whether I should do this and sometimes do. For example, raising pre-flop three times in a row and then getting something like A2o in CO. After the previous...

Running Bad - Advice needed

For the last few weeks I've been running pretty bad. I seem to be constantly being dealt trash. When I sit down I'm going 40-50 hands before I win a single hand, and in all my sessions I'm winning...

Why 5 / 6-max?

What are most people's reasons for playing the 5 or 6 max tables? Are they more profitable in terms of BB/100 than full ring? Or does the greater number of hands per hour make up for a slightly lower...

Re: HU turn raise in position - draws

[ QUOTE ]

Hand 2 - What are you doing? Don't isolate LAG with trash. Don't raise your draw when you have very little fold equity and a third person to act behind. Don't reraise your draw on the...

Overcards

Currently on a downswing and I think overcards are a problem for me. Hands are all at low limit 6-max [2/4 or 3/6]. MP is (38/12/1.4), Blinds are around (42/7/1).

Scenario 1:

Hero in CO with...

Starting Hands - Low Limit Vs Middle Limit

With full ring games there's often quite a difference in starting hands in low limit games compared to the higher limits. How does this compare to 5 and 6-max tables? Are there any major differences...

Re: Continuing steals to the turn...

I usually fire again on the turn; but it does depend on the type of opponent. Many, many players (at the lower limits anyway) just have to see the turn 'just incase'. They are quite willing to call...

Re: was i right to call flop, and was turn raise for value?

You didn't have a draw to the nuts because of the pair of fives. If someone had flop a set of sixes and was slowplaying they now have a full house. As for the raise, even if you make your flush on...

PFR in low limit 6 max tables

I'm currently playing at the $1/$2 6 max tables. My stats after 8k hands (I know, not much) are:

VP$IP 22%
PFR 9%
BB/100 4

After reading these forums it seems most people are getting around...
