This is when your play depends more on your read of the other player than your read of the cards. It may change again on future streets, but I don't think you have a "set in stone" way to go at this...

I agree with the others, in 1-5 it is more likely he had a pair of aces. Maybe a call is in order, but not a raise.

You 100% right, but I sure do feel for the guy getting drawn out esp. with 3 aces on 4th. I've been in his place a lot more than yours.

A re-raise on 5th, would have been called by trip 4's. Then he would have check/called, unless he filled up. So at best you would have made one more big bet and risk the lost of an additional big...

A weakness I have is I find myself thinking that anybody new to the table that I never played with before is a bad player. /forums/images/icons/confused.gif Any ideas to help me out?
