Thanks for the feedback. Being a fairly new player, losing over 6000 hands seemed like a trend more than a downswing.

But if it's possible to play (at least mostly) correctly and suffer this kind...

I didn't have poker tracker before I got the book. But I would estimate it at about the same number of hands, a lot of them at .5/1 or 1/2 though.

OK Here is a typical hand, the type I have been losing lately. As is often the case, had the best hand until the river. Should I have checked the flop and hope to raise the turn?

In the starting hands chart, loose games late position, it lists how to handle a raise "If at least four people have entered the pot in front of you"

Am I correct to take that to mean four people...
