Re: Free casino money
Heh for every person like you that won gained +$200 playing BJ there's more than one that actually had an overall loss including the bonus.
Personally, I lost $100 playing at Reef and gained...

Re: Reef + CON whoring...
I just did Reef and made $100 ($200 bonus - $100 BJ losses). I was doing ok but around hand 120 I took a nosedive and lost about $150 in 40-50 hands. Dealer BJ! Dealer BJ! Dealer BJ! (yep, had 3 in a...

Re: WPT excitment waning
I found this WPT to be the most interesting one so far. Phil Laak's behaviour was extremely annoying but his play more than made up for it.
Why is it so much better to take it slow if it doesn't...

Re: Phil Laak is soooooo annoying!!
His behaviour was annoying but to dismiss his play as terrible is just plain stupid. Yea it's soooo terrible to shove all your money in preflop instead of playing it out one excrutiating hand by hand...

Re: Unknown holds all the cards to win WSOP
Luck is vastly more important than skill in any given poker event. I don't care how good you are, unless you are very lucky you will not win.
Just because we know him here at 2+2 does not...

Re: How big is winning 5M?
The lottery pays over $100 million sometimes. I think a poker tournament is much more like a "skillful lottery" than a sporting event because even if you're #1 in the world by a huge margin the...

Anyone ever watch Celebrity Poker Showdown?
I love this show, it's very entertaining in it's own way. The celebrities are often god awful players which makes for some simply hilarious plays. I just saw perhaps the worst play ever:
Blinds...

You're not the onlinechamp at Pokerstars with the JC image are you? To think, I was laughing at you and you were a 2+2er. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Re: AQs in NL tourneys
My problem is that before I read TPfAP I felt the same way. Then Sklasky suggests (well suggest isn't really the right word...says) that limping with AQs is the correct play. What's the deal? It...

AQs in NL tourneys
I don't understand how I'm supposed to play this hand.
Raise:
Win blinds
Reraise you'd probably have to fold
Someone calls you probably have the best hand
Limp:
No chance to outright win...

Re: Heads up blinds high
Since it's correct to raise with any hand if there's even a slight chance he'll fold some of his hands, you should raise every hand. There are very few opponents that you have such a good read on...

Re: In the money all-in raise with J3o
"Your read of 75% fold is based on a lot of early action where a lot are playing tight."
It was actually based on the last couple rounds of play which were after we merged to 2 tables.

In the money all-in raise with J3o
I got knocked out of a PokerStars tourney in 15th place the other day with this hand, and my friend didn't like the play. Here's my justification and I'd like to hear some additional comments.
The...

Unusual online multi-table NL situation
60 players left, 9 paid. I have 2500 vs. the average of around 3500. Blinds are 50-100 with 25 ante.
Early position player who I've seen limp in with bad hands before raises all in for 3300. I'm...
