Re: Did anyone else notice the 2/4 today was incredibly soft?

J -

do you really find table VP$IP that valuable? I usually count the number of poor/maniac players -- since an average of all the players seems to make little sense to me unless every hand is...

Re: Party-----2/4 vs. 3/6-----PERPLEXED

I would highly suggest reading both Small Stakes Hold'Em and Hold'Em for the Advanced Player.

Re: Does MultiPoker have rakebacks??

Both Multi and Intertops have affils who offer rakeback. It isn't widely broadcasted for some reason, but I know it is available.

[ QUOTE ]
Is the 2001fp the new one or the old one? What's the difference?

[/ QUOTE ]

The 2001FP has been out for 12-18 months. It isn't the newest one. The 2005FPW and 2405FPW are the...

I am going to try triple-heading them with a Matrox Parhelia card (3 DVI outputs). Maybe it's overkill, but two-heads have been great... so why not 3?

You just need a card with a DVI and regular port (VGA).

Re: 2001FP VS 2005FPW? What\'s the difference?

There is no 2005FP (AFAIK). Only a 2005FPW. As baulucky points out, the 1680x1050 resolution doesn't help you for online poker at all. The 2405FPW has a higher res and a much higher cost. At...

Re: 2001FP VS 2005FPW? What\'s the difference?

The 2005 is widescreen (16x9) and the 2001 is standard ratio (4x3). The 2001FP actually has more pixels, since it is taller than the 2005. If you really want a widescreen, step up to the 2405FP. ...

Re: What\'s sLA-A????

Slightly loose aggressive / aggressive.

Means VP$IP around 20-25% and PFA > 1.5. For me, LAG starts at 30%+. 30 hands makes the read fairly moot, but this plays much differently with a true LAG...

Re: AQo - I was a little timid, right play?

I 3-bet the flop. Especially since the reads on the tagalongs has them as L-P's. CO is aggressive so he probably has a weak ace or flush draw and certainly not AK.

Bet the turn or check raise to...

Re: Bison?

After thinking more on it, I do believe you're right. Call/fold is awful advice. Call down, and 3-bet PF. Since you didn't 3-bet, a TAG isn't going to put you on AK, so that's why you might be...

Re: Bison?

Fold seems premature. You're probably behind to either a set or 3's/4's or KQ. 5 outs, big pot? I call and fold the river U/I?

Re: Who three bets the river?

I am a 2/4 player, and there are very few times I would not 3-bet this. As said above, most of our fellow players are oblivious to the board (especially when you're holding a pocket pair). You're...

Re: There\'s a fine line between clever and stupid...

Villain with J or flush draw is most likely. Wouldn't a raise on the flop be cheape/more effective than the turn raise? Turn raise could work, but absent a read on villian, it may just put him into...

It's like the scene at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Whatever you do, don't look back at the shiny box after you fold.

You're getting 10-2 (5-1) after the three bet. You've got 10 outs...
