Re: Aces on double paired turn

I am inclined to raise, but since UTG +1 posted and checked and you have no read on him, there is a greater chance he has a 3, so the best play is to call it down.

Re: Flopped straight - check raise the turn or bet?

Bet the flop, you don't want this checked through, and with that board, someone had to have hit something, so you will get callers, maybe ever a raiser.

The way you played the hand, I might have...

Re: I think I\'ve played too much and learned too little...

Raise. Looks to me that MP2 has a 10, probably J10. I think he check-raises the turn if he has a 9 or the turned straight. As of now, I think your hand is still good.

Re: HU with a small pair

Bet again on the turn. Like you said, he could be stealing with crap or something of the likes of QJ, Q10, A7, etc.

Re: AJ against EP raiser

This is as ugly as it can get. A common mistake of overvaluing AJo that I used to make a countless # of times. Against a raiser and a caller, fold this every time. You are beat by at least one of...

Re: Did I mess up the cowboys?

Bet the turn. There are soooooo many hands that you beat here. Your 3 opponents could have anything from overpairs, to overcards, to flush draws, to straight draws.

Re: Spot my mistake

[ QUOTE ]
Can someone explain the flop raise here...why not just call to let others come along?

[/ QUOTE ]

I totally agree. This is a hand that wants a lot of opponents.

Re: 99 hand

I don't see a problem. I especially like the flop raise.

Re: ok to fold this on riv?

Re: Spot my mistake

[ QUOTE ]
So I'll guess you thought you should've check-raised the river.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't like a check-raise here, the board is scary (3-flush and 4-straight) and there is too much of a...

Re: Raising 79s in CO+1

I don't think the raise here is as bad as everyone is making it out to be. It accomplished exactly what you wanted, to buy the button and the option for a free card on the flop. You evaluated the...
