Re: Sample of an advanced play

Thanks for your comment. I really appreciate it, and I agree with you.

It certainly was never my intention to disrespect my opponent. I probably make several plays per session that are much...

Re: Never raising preflop in PLO

As far as I'm concerned, with only minor exceptions, I think any hand good enough to call with in PLO is worth minraising with if you are first or second into the pot.

Re: Never raising preflop in PLO

In my opinion, you are giving up too much equity to the blinds when you do this. Why not just minraise (to 2x the big blind)? You will still get the same callers you wanted to encourage by limping,...

Sample of an advanced play

I too am not willing to give everything away when it comes to advanced plays. But here is an example of an advanced play by me (joelmick2) that unfortunately didn't work out. See if you can figure...

Re: What is your \'standard bet\' in NL Hold\'em?

If you vary your bet size based on the strength of your hand, this can be a huge tell for your observant opponents. (For example, if your smaller bets represent medium strength hands, your observant...

Re: PL Hold em--playing a draw out of position

Great reply.

Further thoughts on your other suggested lines of play:
(1) Check--I assume he holds either A4 or 44, and since he'd only play A4s, it is 50/50 which he holds. So if I give him a...
