TT - Deep Stack Tourney

I didn't have any reads on this player since I was new to the table, but the table did regard me as tight. This player had JUST lost a 7-8k pot the hand before. How do you think I played this?

Re: Brings me trouble when

Checking in the BB isn't usually a smart move, especially against 5 limpers, you have no idea what you're up against. A6xbb bet is a nice bet, and if everyone folds, the blind money is still nice.

Re: KQ>>??

Just calling a raise with KQo or KQs is just asking for trouble.

Re: Worst bad beat ever?

I don't have the hand history but here's how it went down.
Me : KK
Caller 1 : QJo
Caller 2 : JJ

I bet 5x BB preflop mid level tourney, and I get these two callers. Flop is Qxx, double suited. ...

Re: Big slick in the BB

No need to put yourself all-in with a drawing hand. You're at best a coinflip, more likely a dog to this guy's PP. Consider just calling / small raising this bet, but all in is over-doing it. Save...

Re: Hand I saw at UB $25-$50, is this normal?

[ QUOTE ]
First of all you leave out the most important fact about the 25/50 table, is it short handed or a full ring game? Much more often than not that table is 4 players or less which...

Re: Flop top set, how to maximize? $100 NL Party

I think a bet is in order on the turn, roughly what you raised to preflop, just to see where you stand in the hand. Take down a small pot instead of giving them free cards for the flush.

Re: Live 2-5 NL

If you really folded the best full house, you are quite out of your mind. The least you can do is pay this guy off, but 99% of the time you will take the pot down. I cannot believe you folded this.

Re: 2-5 NL hand

I'd probably call this especially since he didn't re-raise you on the turn. I put him on a lower flush.
