Re: Move from 3/6 to 6/12?

In four months I've logged 179 hours.

At what point do people consider that they've played enough to make a decent analysis of their game?

Move from 3/6 to 6/12?

I've been playing live 3/6 for about a year and keeping good stats for 4 months. Where I play, the rake is $3 every round (1 small bet), approximately $12 per hour. The game is loose and generally...

\'Aggressive\' play on the turn and river, or just loose?

I've taken to heart S&M's SSHE advice about not folding large pots on the turn or river. Often I lose a few bets, but I've won many pots which I didn't think I had a chance for. Here, I'm talking...

Re: AJ on a dangerous board

You have a guaranteed 9 outs for the nut flush, and probably 3 more for Aces with a decent kicker. That's around 1:4 odds and the pot is giving you 6.5:1. Absolutely call. No need to raise since...

Re: JJ with an Ace flop

Yep, if I'm figuring it right at the flop it's 1:11 for your two outs and 23:1 for the call. Definitely call, even though you would have had to fold at the turn (1:24 versus 15:1).

Re: folding is hard

I would call the river. Apart from simply the 20:1 pot odds, people are going to be more likely to bluff you on the river if they see you folding. And there isn't any chance you'll be 3-bet here.

Re: I swear i\'m beat do I stay cause it\'s a big pot?

Well, it's four outs to a jack-high straight, which is near the nuts. That's 10:1 odds on the turn, and the pot odds for the 3-bet call are 15:1, so I'd say it's a good call. am I figuring this wrong?

Re: 86s on BB

isn't 5 outs on the flop 4:1 odds? just learning odds, so i could easily be wrong.
