Re: 2 big flops

When you make the second nuts and two guys are going crazy, at some point consider that one of them might have the nuts.

Re: 2 big flops

These are the points everyone is going to make, honestly. In a nutty shorthanded game, you need to start jamming the nuts at some point. You're going to get more money out of people when...

No reason to let the cat out of the bag here by betting out. I'm hoping someone has the As and I'm going to get capped action. So I check.

Re: How aggressive with top 2?

I mostly am taking a break - I played for 2 hours on stars just to assess my mental state in regards to poker. I may play the $500 sunday tourney, but after that, nothing more for at least 2 weeks.

How aggressive with top 2?

I've been put in a lot of situations lately in which I think a reasonable person in my position is going to lose a good amount of money - top 2 against a set, straights against flushes, etc.

But,...

Re: How do you become a +EV tourney player?

Re: How to play the bigstack: the definitive text

[ QUOTE ]
So, when might you start with this? With avg at around 10-12BB? Seems somewhere in there you have a lot of folding equity, which I'd imagine is where a lot of the value in these hands...

Limping is ok with a broader set of hands (ie. 63s) when in late position and vs. players that arent’ too tricky postflop.

Re: WCOOP Main Event

Was off to a decent start, got up to 3600 20 minutes in, but I've fallen back to the starting stack level by losing several small pots.

2415 and 436/720 at the break.
