Re: Playing against amateurs not the way to learn...

Personally it looks like you are the amateur the way you played that hand.

I would have tried to take the pot down with that dangerous flop. Dont get fooled into thinking you have the nuts, you...

Re: Caught the pocket rockets and a lot of trouble

To be honest, I dont see how you could have won this hand, i.e I dont see how your opponent would have got away from his over pair.

Just harsh luck.

You cant be proud of that mate. You played it terribly!!

Re: AQs against a tight aggressive

If you dont like A Q then why didn't you fold it before the flop?

You have now hit top pair and you STILL fold!

Get some balls.

Re: HU 1/2 Hand

I would have raised massively on the flop! you need to shut out ALL drawing hands.

Re: i don\'t know...help please

You should have re-raised pre flop.

Also, what kind of flop was you hoping for? that flop is perfect. I would have stuck my whole stack in there.

I suggest you folding KK in future if you cant...

Re: Does anyone call here?

It was obviously a poor lay down. You must have known you were ahead pre flop? The chances you were up against AA or KK were slim.

Get some cohonas.

Re: PP $1/2 NL advice on play

You are chasing a straight. Dont play a pair with this hand.

Poor play.

It isn't a pre flop trash hand, Suited Connectors are very powerful hands in my opinion, give me them over AT, KJ, QT KT...

Re: Difference between 6 seater and 10 seater play

I actually find full ring games tedious most of the time. 6 seat is quicker.

Re: Difference between 6 seater and 10 seater play

The hand...

Re: Did I screw this up?

You played it spot on. You put him on an Ace suited and he got lucky on the river.

You were favourite to win at every stage until the river, you got unlucky and out drawn.

Re: Two hands from tonight. . .

It makes me laugh how much bad players rate a pair.

Re: Two hands from tonight. . .

Sorry but, no one on here would have put that person on pocket QQ's.

If you come up against a bigger set you are just going to have to pay that person off.
