Re: Tough AA Hand
Thanks for the responses.
I made a small raise preflop because I thought the texture of the table made it much more likely to face a reraise than have a number of callers. I also thought an added...

Re: **Official Stars 100K added**
I think one of the interesting things is how varied good players' opinions are of correct payout structures.
I didn't get what you meant by this response, were you referring to the 20%?

Re: 98% to win post-flop bad beat
Nothing at all wrong with letting him bet off all of his chips.
Why raise the flop or turn against a bad player likely drawing dead?

Re: **Official Stars 100K added**
I think what you say has a ton of merit. I'm still playing but I'm an action junkie. I really do hate the payout structures.
At least my reason is after a number of second final tables in big...

Re: UB \"cashmas\": Where\'s the money?
Here's a weird thing that just happened.
The full overlay was given. Then alternates starting coming and they "ate into" the overlay.
In other words for every alternate, I believe the overlay...

Re: UB \"cashmas\": Where\'s the money?
At least in the 109 im in now it says they are adding the money on top of the prize pool and that money is reflected in the prize pool.
I wonder if they policy is not consistent.

Damn my standard play here is limp as well. It can't be a terrible play can it?
I tend to limp alot out of the small blind and just let myself play poker with so so hands without creating big...

This is a great point. I played once online last year winning a grand or two due to Homer and his suggestions and I thought damn this is fun as hell.

Re: Simple TT Hand
I thought it was a bit interesting in the sense it really comes down to AQo/99 making this move at all. To make the action clear, sorry for the confusion:
I raised to 350, he made it 1100 and I...

Re: Limit tournaments, question on stacking off?
You can't fold the eights.
You can have a pretty damn good roi if you are a good limit player but its frustrating at times.
The interesting thing as you have seen here is as the blinds get...

Re: Simple TT Hand
The interesting thing about this hand (maybe the only thing) is you have proper odds to call if he makes a move with AQ0, improper if he doesn't.
I doubt he gets frisky with nines but who knows.

Yeah I'm terrible. I guess his range might be either AQo and great or AQs greater and TT plus.
I'm horrible. Maybe I'll dig up pokerstove to see how off I was.
Anyone else think fold?

Simple TT Hand
UB 215. Russ Hamilton in the SB. He has been playing very well (shocker cause he's a world champ) and pretty solid.
Blinds 50-100 I've got about 1900 and I open raise in CO-2 for 350 with tens. ...

I vote push the flop. I also voted for Kerry. I once voted for Thomas Dewey.
I just say take your chances. Try to move dude of big draw and you may well be ahead anyways.
