Re: News of the Week 2/27/2005

Thanks Cubs,
That bit about there being a good bit of automation and never winning against the house was kind of disturbing. Anyone else feel the same way?

Re: 5/10 Did I Make a Mistake with this Flop Push?

Good play. Like someone else said you are only worried about a set or someone calling with a higher flush draw. That guy would have definitely left me shaking my head with his call.

Re: Middle Pair + nut flush draw + 1 overcard

Re: mid set on a draw heavy board

i would most definitely call. If he will call 12 more with 10,j out of position then more power to him. If he has a set of nines just pay him off.

Re: Mathematical Insight regarding NL Holdem

I like the question posed and I believe punker is correct in what he states. If you add in the fold equity that Gus has when he opens a pot preflop and post flop, then that goes along way in...

Re: 2/5 nl Aces out of the BB

Think i'd make it 300 to go and put the rest in on the flop if he calls. If he folds, you won 90. If not, the hopefully you double through. Making about a 100 dollars without playing a flop is...
