Re: Pokerstars Regulars 1/2 - 3/6
LA,
I think its fair to say that there are very few players I would be unhappy to see at the table. I was trying to differentiate between complete goons, and people who clearly are competent. ...

Re: Pokerstars Regulars 1/2 - 3/6
I'm assuming you are talking ring game here.
I think you are confusing good/winning vs hard to play against. If you are fairly new to the game, then very loose aggro players can be hard to play...

Re: 10/20 - Short Stacked Play AQJT
Your stack is simply too small to be reraising with these kinds of hands. You are almost certain to be a big dog if he puts you in preflop - which you now cant pass - and unable to put pressure on...

Re: RESULTS
Punter,
The reason I said this was kinda subliminal. I *knew* from seeing you around that you are mostly a NL holdem guy. Most NL folk couldnt judge a good plo player from a bad one on the best...

Re: Hand against Chufty - interesting situation
I would be interested as to why you think b) is the case.
Also, the way PLO is played now online, there is no way to avoid the good players...its just gonna happen. Which this hand showed. And...

Re: Would You Play On This Table?
No my 2k plo days are over. I was of course referring to Dr Cobben. But he is far from Donk, just an exceptionally dangerous gambler. And makes the game good fun too, in a sick way.
I still...

Re: Would You Play On This Table?
I'm guessing the Doctor was in the house /images/graemlins/wink.gif
I've played with a lot of the Dutch, and never seen anything untoward either. FWIW, I dont think Rolf plays online, or at least...

Re: Bankroll for Party $2k PLO
I doubt this is as true or as easy as you state. Nutpeddling when everyone is is very aggressive and tricky can be very very difficult. I can't think of even one player, in all my time in that game...

Re: Short handed and short stacked at 5/10
LA,
The problem with a c-r in this spot is that it means he can't pass. Normally you might prefer a pass as he might be very live, or simply be infront. So I would bet, and of course call any...

Actually I was just trying to b amusing /images/graemlins/smile.gif
For 3 to 1 action, Im happy to get broke in these spots, especially if I think my foes are tight - eg they both have sets.

Re: Slow Play? #1 (PLO8)
Can we have a Wintermute annoying the feck out of me button added too? :-)
How about a Ribbo targetting mechanism...I'm sure Captain America would find WMD in Warrington.

Re: Newb wrap question
Long ago I published a wrap nomenclature, which bears repeating in such circumstances:
English wrap - 13 outs plus
American/Canadian wrap - 8 outs or less
Swedish/Nordic/Cold Country wrap - 4...

Re: massive 5 10 PLO pot do you call here?
I have a queesy recollection of you doing this last time you came here. What's the point of posting a hand which is *entirely* based on a read, which you then don't share with us? As Bluff said its...

Re: Ribbo and Wintermute
Cooker,
Nearly all the plo8b advice posted here, until recently, was flat out wrong. I was once involved in a huge thread as to why a naked A2 was a preflop fold regardless of action. The...

Re: Ribbo and Wintermute
Mend,
The difference is, Winter believes he is being funny, although he does sometimes miss that he *could* also be p.is.sing people off.
That is rarely the reason Ribbo does it.

Re: PT stats questions
Unsurprisingly, I agree with Bluff, although from a slightly different perspective. I do use PT, although mostly because it allows me to multitable and review hands - "God I did play that one really...
