Re: limp-reraised by MajorPolk
Well you have to be like 42.2% favourite against his range, so that's 88+,AQo+,AJs+. This seems like it should be fine to call as there's almost no chance he would play AK like this.

btw I think calling is probably the best, but you basically cant fold on the flop, its mainly just to encourage the BB to come along for the ride.

Re: $55 Push?
Well, just use SNGPT and you can prove it.. with K2o the ranges have to be 15%/17% and with 87o they have to be both 17%, and 23% is like -0.1% with 87o and around -0.4% for both with K2o.

Re: $55 Push?
I'm moving in here, even if they call any ace or any pair, it's only marginally -$EV and any tighter than that it's +$EV. However a fold probably isn't really bad, I just feel that I need some chips....

Re: $11 AT UTG L4
[ QUOTE ]
Maybe +1% is good enough for you, but personally I don't think it is enough of an edge to risk being eliminated this early. And if everybody folds, your "win" is not large enough to...

Re: Going for 1st
Oh by the way FE doesn't actually matter here, even if he folded the bottom 2/3rds he was raising with, you would still want his range to be no wider than top 21%, which is exactly the same as if he...

Re: Going for 1st
You should definitely move-in here. It's nothing like the KJo hand the other day because, well, AQs is like absolutely massive compared to KJo.

Re: $16T Weak Call or +EV
I'll just take them out of the pool I guess. You need him to be pushing 76% of hands to call, I'd probably still fold 99 because that's bloody wide, and most aren't capable of pushing any two here.

Re: $16T Weak Call or +EV
Nah I don't know about that, KK is a call here. It's QQ where it starts to get interesting (43% range) and JJ (62%). TT would be call if he literally has any two but I wouldn't want to risk it.

Re: $16T Weak Call or +EV
Yep I was correct - if he's pushing any two it's STILL a fold. You have to be a 72.4% favourite to call this.

Re: $16T Weak Call or +EV
This seems like a terrible call that's losing you absolutely stacks of $EV by making it with 99. Probably -$EV even if he has any two.

Re: On Bubble: small pair facing push (II)
You only need to win 41% of the time here, by ICM, to make the call. It's not always the case to avoid coin flips - it depends on your stack, other stacks.. which is what ICM allows for. He only has...

Re: $16T Folding TPGK
Maybe or just fold, I think I'd probably fold one off the button 7 handed and only one limper, but I dunno.

Re: 215 Flush on paired board

Everyone's been saying that you need to play the early game well to make money at the $215s, so i assume that means playing good drawing hands in LP. So i don't mind the call preflop.

Re: 215 Flush on paired board
I'd be folding that preflop, but ok since we have called, I'd probably raise the flop to get a free turn (for when the diamond doesn't come) and to get all in more easily (when it does).
