Re: roll call! whos a fish?
It is all relative.
At 30-60, I'm almost certainly a fish. At 3-6, I'm definitely a shark. There is a smooth transition between the two somewhere in between.

Re: Wasted bet on the river?
Maurile,
Apart from the river, I like how you played the hand.
At the river, I look at from a purely mathematical standpoint: will both my opponents fold more than 1/15th of the time?
If...

Re: Misplayed on every street?
Well ...
Preflop looks fine to me. I probably limp here 80% of the time, raise 10% of the time, and limp reraise 10% of the time. The percentages shift depending on the game type, but that's my...

Re: Honestly - At what point can I bet this hand
Sarge,
To me, two late limpers does not imply any great strength, so I fully anticipate that my TT is the best hand. I'm raising to:
1) Punish those with lesser hands.
2) Take control of the...

The executive summary ... raise limpers from cutoff with ATs, three bet by UTG+1. Flop top pair, turn trips, river blank, call like scared little girl all the way.
In the sobering light of day, I...

Re: Honestly - At what point can I bet this hand
Sarge,
I take a much more aggressive line with this hand.
I raise preflop and lead at the flop. If raised, I will call, look at the turn, and likely fold if unimproved against a straightforward...

Re: ATs in the Cutoff
I actually do limp reraise AKs around 25% of the time ... although I would never make that play in this particular game.

I would not have shown my hand, though. If your opponents are that easily scared off, I would want to keep my stealing options open. All you do by showing is antagonize the fish. (Don't...

Re: Good board for c/r with set?
A decent enough point.
In some situations, though, it still might be advantageous to thin the field. 90% of a slightly smaller pot might amount to more money in the long run than 70% of a larger...
