Not from Alaska, but I'm in the industry. One of our salesmen worked a couple seasons back in the early 80's fishing for king crab. Read a couple good books on the topic, one called 'Working on the...

Re: what to do? what to do?
Call. Hate to see a higher flush, but it's only 1 more back to you. I wouldn't raise here, as it doesn't look like anyone is folding and you are a long ways from the nuts.
Call.

Re: How does it feel...
The players at any of the real money tables are serious. 0.05/0.10 is a perfect limit to learn at. If you aren't beating 0.05/0.10, I don't think you are going to be a winning player at the higher...

Re: KT dangerous flop
What limits? You've got three limpers and the SB completing. You've hit top pair with a mediocore kicker, straight and flush draws. If you are that scared of the other 3, raise to drive them out,...

Re: flop a set fold the river?
You have outs to a boat, and I guess looking at the odds, you do have the odds to call the two back to you on the turn. I'm folding the river.

Re: River aggression
I would check the flop through. With a diamond coming on the turn, I would call one bet to me to see if I catch the flush. UI on the river, I check/fold to a bet. I think you played your UI...

Re: Embarrassed by how I played this AKs
I don't cap this pf, play it like you did.
I'm raising the flop with the nut flush draw.
Taking the free card on the turn.
River all depends on where the bet comes from (if it happens), if no...

Re: Is this a call? Sleepless nights...
Having to call 4 back to you this is not a good situation. Even maniacs get lucky, and to look at it the other way, 2 of the 3 raisers you didn't give any reads on (except that EP1 was loose - is he...

Re: 87 river plan
Only read a couple of the responses so far, but I come out betting the river, calling one back to me. Of course, there is no way I play 20/40 (more like 2/4 and 3/6 sometimes), so for what it's...

Re: TT overpair - capped on flop
I wouldn't cap the flop. He came out betting into the pf raiser, maybe that's his idea of defending his blind from an UTG+1 raise. His 3-bet is trying to tell you something. If one of your 10's...

Re: Typical river bet?
I don't think I could make this play, but it worked nice for you. If you think that CO will fold, then yes it is a good bet. Even so, CO has to be holding a J, K, or A to not split. Nice play.

Re: call this?

Not sure what I was thinking in this hand, the only street I stand by is the flop. Definately agree with 3betting the turn, in hindsight.

There are plenty of hands to limp in with on the button. It is all situational, but having the button doesn't...

Re: Huh?
Set of threes, set of fours, A4, flush draw, could be any number of things - all of which you are probably behind except the flush draw. Call and see the showdown on the river (unless you hit your...

Re: River Play?
Based on the size of the pot, I'm check folding the river. It completes the possible flush, plus it's an A, neither of which you beat, but both of which are possible holdings for the button. Tiny...

Re: Flopping overpair against AK raiser
How are you so sure that he has AK or AQ? Why not TT, JJ, QQ, KK, AA? You didn't three bet preflop, so I don't think that he's going anywhere to a c/r on the flop. If he does have a high PP, then...

Re: What to do on the river?
Check behind and take the free showdown. Are you planning on calling a raise if that happens? I think MP1 has a J, it's just a question of the kicker. He probably incorrectly thought you were...
